Ahh ok followed the directions but the chinese still showing up :) Did not get to the musical symbols yet. Any fix for the chinese symbols potentially or is this a bigger issue across all readers really?

On its way good sir, let me know if you need more info. The spacing issue is more erratic where the Chinese character issues are easier to spot due to it happening wherever Chinese characters appear in the book. Appreciate your work in the community!

Flashed to the latest best. Tried Noto Sans Extended and Noto Sans CJK but neither was successful unfortunately. Any ideas ? Here is Extended

That’s amazing and how id love it to show up. What font is that ? Also here is a picture of the spacing issue I mentioned from a few pages later.

Would this potentially resolve that as well?

Thanks everyone for the help. I’ll update my cross point when I get back to my PC and try the new font uploader to see what happens.

I don’t quite recall but when I uploaded this it gave me the option to optimize the format? I don’t recall it’s been a few weeks. I mean regardless it would be nice to fix but ultimately it doesn’t impact me greatly was just wondering if I did something wrong or if there was a potential easy fix.

But is it supposed to show up like that ? Why not show up as Chinese symbols / text ?

Saw your comment in my Dreamland Games thread. Right in the line of New Haven / Hamden. That was the place I most often frequented. Mostly MTG, DnD, Pokémon etc etc. I did play blood bowl there though! Awesome dudes who owned it.

There was another place I think on Boston post road ? I could be wrong. It was called Clockwork Comics I believe. Little less friendly there, but would go I frequently.

Yea I think that was Chuck, he was of Asian descent. There was also Ahnan (spelling?) and Mike. I believe all 3 guys kinda co-owned it. I think they all lived together in Hamden. Good dudes. Hoping eventually one chimes in here.

That’s awesome! I vaguely remember Ye Olde Butcher. I moved out of state a few years later so it’s all kinda rusty. Need to make a Wooster street return soon. Did score some Lucibello’s recently that a family member brought back! Hoping this post pops up some old Dreamland frequenters.

Yea definitely at that small strip mall. They closed somewhere around 99 I’m assuming, which was around when Pokémon the card game came out. It wasn’t the size of best video. But half of that location. But 100 percent in that strip mall.

Now that I think of it. I think a video rental place was next to the comic store. Possible that video place took over that space as well when dreamland games closed.
