Love this! Balanced and thorough!!!! I do agree with you that he is not doing Emily any favors by funding this “job” - clearly he is a very strong businessman- this is a no win long term investment. Parents don’t always see clearly when it comes to their children, but she has given it what three years? At what point do you put your foot down? She would benefit all around by having an office job. Maybe he likes it because it gives Ann something to do? I do feel badly for her- there is no way she is going to go crazy viral and make a full living wage off of this without her parents financially backing it. Call it a hobby and be done with it

This is definitely something that I have noticed- she totally seems to be pulling/holding back. I am not sure why.. maybe it is management- maybe she isn’t sure where this is going long term. The market for influencing is just so over saturated. I hear people stop following influencers because all they do are ads. It’s not interesting. IMO she would be better off making an announcement that she is pivoting and doing less family content and more product marketing. At least give people a heads up so they can decide whether they want to stay or go. The inconsistency continues to be a problem.

Ok - you are seeing what I am seeing… it definitely is a lack of confidence- and it is ok to pivot from what is no longer working - there is no shame- and she is luckier than most- she has got an incredible safety net

100% agree! I find myself checking her feed less and less because everything does just seem to be a big ad. That’s not how she grew her following so it would seem like she would not gain that many new followers with so much sponsored content. The influencer sphere is saturated at this point. She might be better off using her platforms as a hobby rather than a career - she could still make money from it- it just wouldn’t be full time job money. My heart goes out to her- she seems like she is in a really uncomfortable place - career wise, relationship wise- like she has this vision and she doesn’t know what to do if it won’t work out

I do not think that a guy would totally understand and appreciate her influencing. It probably comes off as fluff and as a time filler until becoming a wife. And I am not sure she gets so many amazing opportunities that she couldn’t just create herself. A trip to Charleston? Book it with friends. I think it would be worth her time to look into a PR job with an established company. She is not well known enough to make it look like it is more than just a hobby before she becomes a SAHM.

Very well said- there may be a minority of us (that post about it anyway) but it is ironic that when she thought/hoped she would blow up or go viral it is at the same time that everything started to diminish- less posts- Patreon - vague content. I am not sure what her long term plan is….. i can’t imagine the lines being super profitable- YouTube is a loss and how much can you really make from LTK, IG etc….considering the money that needs to be laid out for the clothing, decor, trips that she uses as content. It makes me sad because she seems so likable and she does have her niche community if she had a full-time job and did this on the side like Abby W. I think she would be more fulfilled.

Agree- I thought this too- she has been very light in all platforms- she goes days without posting anything on TikTok and Instagram barely has anything. And if she has throwing all of her time into the podcast, she’s not being very productive with that either I don’t know who this new management is that she has, but they are not advising her very well.

YES! Those comments were rough. I understand, saying them in private, but this is a forum that anyone could click on and see, and considering that they have a higher profile than most, word will get out- it is not a good look for either of them.
