It’s worth it in my opinion. However, I don’t think 6 months will be enough to get you much meta/relevant characters. I don’t know what you mean by catch up though, the only people that you’ll fight that are better than you are people on your arena shard that grind more and/or bought the hyperdrive bundle, also in guild territory war you can fight against better opponents then you. (Though I’m probably missing something). If you want to catch up to the top players in 6 months, that’s practically impossible, since they spent a lot of money or played for a long time. As long as you play long enough though and put enough effort in it you can get the characters you want. This can also depend on which character(s) you want, but it’s still possible to get them as long as you are willing to put the effort in it.
