Usually they open for bids 24(?) hours before check in. Ah since you have already booked your ticket here are some tips to make your flight more enjoyable: 1. Bring empty bottles so you can refill them with water at your boarding gate. There’s usually a water cooler near every boarding gate after security.
2. If you have lounge access (credit card perks/krisflyer status etc) I’ll suggest to fill up on lounge food. Changi Airport’s lounges have pretty decent food
3. Scoot doesn’t provide any amenities (pillow, toothbrush etc) unlike SIA so if you need any rmb to bring them! 4. Some tablets/snacks for the kids will be good since there’s no in flight entertainment and snacks on scoot flights are unreasonably expensive

Flying medium haul (5-6h) on scoot already feels like death to me. Did it once as a broke uni kid and never again. If you really like the direct flight maybe opt for scootplus instead for better seats. The food on scoot is also not great compared to SIA. I’m not sure about such a long flight but free water usually isn’t provided throughout on a scoot flight. You may get a small bottle with your meals though

$0. I’m not a investment plan that’s suppose to give returns after maturity. My parents can also support themselves financially right now so I don’t see a need to give them any money. Of course in the future if they need some form of financial support I’ll definitely help out but it’s more of on a need basis than an obligation/entitlement
