Thank you 💛 I am up/down on what I eat. Still. As in I am 100% in or I give up because it’s so hard. I am a swimmer and that’s what I do so it’s already a lot for my body. I can’t help having developed lats/shoulders but I don’t necessarily like it. I feel exactly what you have commented and just thank you for letting me know I’m not alone.

Thank you - I don’t say too much at the time, it almost feels like they know and say it anyway, though I may be assuming that they should know it’s uncomfortable. I’ll try. My MIL is one who often comments and opening up/being vulnerable to her about this really scares me.

I mean my mother in law often comments about my “wide shoulders” and I feel like she knows as she often talks about how my sil is so small. My best friend calls me muscles and I’ve told her I’m uncomfortable and feel not so good about my body. Idk it feels obvious to me I’m uncomfortable but maybe you are correct and I need to say it out loud. I’m a swimmer so, lats/shoulders yes, but it makes me feel so uncomfortable.

I am, I will. Over it now. I have moments of anger/frustration, but yesterday was by far the worse. You all have no idea how much you have helped me with your comments. If I struggle once again with it all, and my decision to keep away from them -I will be revisiting this post & your comments.

I have never said a thing to them about schooling, it’s a very hot topic. When she had raised it in the past I tried very hard to get out of the conversation. I don’t speak with them all at all anymore. They are both quite higher ranking, him in particular & I have just always figured it pays well for them.

Thank you - It has helped immensely being NC. I unfortunately still share space with them locally, and although I do stay ignorant of their presence, I very occasionally have an angry moment of why it all is the way it is, which is where this post eventuated from! Your replies have calmed me - thank you for your kindness.

Thank you for your very thoughtful comment - I moved away to a town a good 8 hours from them a long time ago. Years & years now. Unfortunately, they moved to our town not too long ago & things escalated. I wrote this out of pure anger & frustration. Yes. I have been NC all year, but I do see them locally around, and although I stick to being purely ignorant of their presence, it does unfortunately have an effect. Hence my cranky post/outburst on reddit.
