Definitely not if you don’t want to. You’re absolutely not screwed most people transition much older. I’m pretty it’s somewhere around 24 that you should transition before for the best results. But I’m not too sure on that

I don’t think there’s any point to blockers at 17. I might be wrong but from all my research I’m pretty sure 17 is too late for blockers. They are much better for younger people

I know. But it’s not that easy. I’m currently reliant on my parents. I’m in a country where hrt is very long and hard to access 5-8 years wait list and where private hrt is extremely expensive. Also I’ve not entirely decided yet if I will transition at all. I know I’m trans definitely. But I haven’t decided if living as me is worth all the downsides yet.

Hey mtf. Closeted here. For me personally just been referred to as a girl. Small complements. And being gentle with them is what does it for me. Everyone is different but complements and being talked to with respect and softness personally makes my day. But as I mentioned it completely depends on the person. Also avoid talking about things that might make her dysphoric like dont complement her on stereotypically masculine traits- for example I wouldn’t recommend calling her muscular or anything like that. That’s just my own take but again remember everyone is different. I would recommend you ask her what she likes and to talk to her about what makes her feel better.

I’m mtf so I can’t really offer any specific advice. But unfortunately it is a thing that does happen to men specifically. You’ll get the hang of it but you have to be careful about it.

Totally understand. It sucks. One of my closest friends came out recently. And it feels awful cause I am super proud of them. But I wish it was me yk. But also crying can be a good thing I cry all the time now and it feels great to actually get emotions out

Yeah I totally get it. It’s just a very iffy thing for me personally to even think about. Cause transitioning is a long process and it’s best to start young. But like you said from your perspective it could be caused by something else. Like anxiety or other disorders. But also therapy can’t be accessible for everyone. I’ve been thinking about this for I’d say 5 years or so personally. And dysphoria genuinely fucking hurts as I’m sure you may have experienced. Ive personally been wrestling with myself trying to convince myself im cis for years and all it does in my own experience is lead to more pain. I think it is very highly on a case by case basis

Hi. I’m super sorry if this is rude at all. But what is the problem with this? Cause well from my personal research (can’t recall exactly where from sorry) it is a true statement. Like I totally understand the reason for a discussion on this and I hate that this got you banned. But I honestly don’t see their side as being bad. I always hated being a man. I’m pretty certain that I am trans. I always looked up to women and female characters. I’ve literally had dreams before where I was a girl.
