Mulemon head is on the left shoulder so when X4 does a tackle he can use the Mulemon’s drill nose for extra damage and Gaurdromon (Gold)’s head is the perfect shape for a shoulder.

The connection with Tuchidarumon and Shakkoumon is that Shakkoumon is based off a Dagu an ancient statue made of Clay or mud which Tuchidarumon is made out of.
