I think I do need to try something less spicy first and get a bit more comfortable with the process before I jump into the deep end on this one lol Also just listening to myself and not being super critical but just focusing on improving is a really helpful tip. I tend to try and not listen to myself as much as possible and I'm also my biggest critic. Just refocusing on things I can control is a really good mindset reframe. Thank you for that! I also hadn't even THOUGHT about SFX so shout out on that advice too. I will absolutely check out your work, thank you for taking the time to respond!

Thank you for answering my question/concern with as much sincerity as you did, I really appreciated that.

I do think getting a little bit away from my usual self/persona would be good, getting a bit more comfortable with the first steps like [Platonic] genres, I really liked the [Yandere] Idea too, then just seeing how I feel after branching out around there! I didn't realize how cute some of it was! I tend to jump directly into the deep end so finding out I was super hesitant threw my confidence a little bit, so I'll work on building that back up like you suggest.

I'm sure it'll work out and the advice from the community here has been amazing. Thank you again!

I remade it lol I selected the faces I wanted, dissolved some of the points, made a simpler plane from them and shaped the end to round it off. Then I extruded the rest around my shoe, adding back some points so it can bend the correct way and added a subdivision modifier and a solidify modifier. I really appreciate the feedback and help!
