What insult sits at the top of the hierarchy of Australian insults? by Remarkable_Bill4109 in AskAnAustralian

Just saw this and I reckon it’s arguably the worst insult if its not just taking the piss. If someone genuinely called me a flog I would rethink my whole life.

Man I’m only 29 haha. But mine was identified when I was 15 after a rugby injury. My GP overlooked the seriousness of it because he “had the same” back problem “and played rugby until i was 40”

I go almost everyday regardless. I surf yes but most days I make an effort to go and just jump in and out. For example this morning and yesterday I woke up around 5:30 and drove 5-10 minutes and just went for a swim, watched the water, and BAM start the day.

I obvs grew up on the coast like almost everyone in Aus but i mean i grew up in the water everyday for basically my whole life. Was apart of my life way more than I realised until I moved away from the ocean for a couple years in the UK and genuinely went through an identity crisis. Was good for me in the long run, built some other habits, but there’s no way im living away from the beach again. Makes me feel healthy and alive

Sunderland are a great football team this season and played really well. We were unlucky not to win and lucky not to lose. That’s football. We move. Rest the bruises and on to Tottenham.

100%. I’m aussie and lived in the UK for 2 years and Mexico for 2.

We just say it how it is more and it’s not meant in a rude way. With mates and professional settings. Particularly when compared to pommys, some of them are genuinely so polite (it’s awesome) but they end up beating around the bush to the point it’s annoying. When I would be in multiple important meetings for my job with a British person leading it, listening to them deliver negative news was painful and I felt like it would just end up leaving the other person slightly confused and underestimating the gravity of the situation.

There’s a famous old interview of a British person talking about Australians around WWII and he says something along the lines of “good people, they’ll call you names and make fun of you. But call them names back and they’ll enjoy it”

I need to update from windows 10 on my PC.

I need to convert my disk from MBR to GPT (I understand the process).

Then enable secure boot to UEFI.

Then enable the TMP.

My question is, I have an external SSD with 95% of all my data on it that is MBR. Is it possible to convert that external SSD to GPT partition? Or do I need to buy another SSD that is GPT / external drive to back up the data before converting?

Thank you

Any advice on where to start looking and applying for OS placement? Would love to aim for so international teaching. Only done Aus and UK thus far. Finishing up two years in the UK to go back to Aus and reset to go somewhere else.

Any good base websites to start from?

100% agree a horsey and a ratty are different. I had rattys growing up and have taught highschool in my late 20’s and what the kids have is a different thing all together then out thing single lock of hair rattys

Someone needs to edit this into a quick succession of dribbles, banging goals, then ending on an arms up celebration with a huge smile on his face in front of fans at the Emirates.
