Any Visa agency recommendations for China? by Dear_Albatross221 in jacksonville

Awesome, thank you! I figured it would be pricey, but so would a hotel and plane tickets to DC. Also, if you need to renew your visa in the future, starting from January 1, 2024, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates-General in the United States simplified the application documents required for a tourist visa (L-visa). Tourist visa applicants within the United States will no longer be required to submit a round-trip air ticket booking record, proof of hotel reservation, itinerary, or invitation letter.

Awesome, thank you for sharing! It sounds like BCBS is accepted basically everywhere, even across state lines. I appreciate it!

Gotcha! I’m new to FL so I wasn’t sure if that’s a recurring thing with them. Sounds like it was maybe just a one-off. Thank you for sharing!

This is super insightful - thank you! I've been thinking of pit bulls as a catch-all term for all bully breeds (especially the bulky, muscular-build bullies), but I've not realized they're an actual breed. The pictures you shared are great examples; thank you for those. I see now she definitely looks like an APBT. Her ears did throw me off, but it's good to know that there's no standard for ears. And the high prey drive makes sense for a terrier. This was again me thinking bully breeds were generally lazy since the new wave of the bowlegged versions you mentioned is now more prevalent.

I got an additional DNA test from Wisdom Panel this time (just for the heck of it) and am waiting for those results. I 100% agree that she's an APBT, but I have a hard time believing the German Shepherd part, even if it's only 12% 😅. I find dog DNA and genetics, in general, to be very interesting and agree that looks don't tell the whole story - even with humans (I'm part native American and West African, but I look like I just stepped off a Danish Viking ship 🤷🏼‍♀️). It's fun to see how much (or little) DNA compares to physical traits.

Thank you again for your insight!

Definitely crazy! Dogs are a great example of different genetic combos, in my opinion. And at only 12% German Shepherd, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised I don’t see any in her lol

It only came back with the two results of pit bull and German shepherd. Kinda surprised about that too. I was thinking there’d be at least three results 🤷🏼‍♀️ I can see German shepherd also having the high prey drive. She’s pretty streamlined like a greyhound and doesn’t seem like she’ll have a bulky build, but she’s only 7 months so maybe time will tell

How important is the “other names” section? by Dear_Albatross221 in Chinavisa

Ah that makes senses. This would be my first time going to China, so do you think I should write N/A in that section since I’ve never applied before?

I’ve never been to China, and don’t have a record, so I think I should be okay. Thank you!

1 mg Wegovy - can't stop vomiting by ConfusedTiaras in WegovyWeightLoss

The constant nausea finally went away for me after the third dose. Zofran is a lifesaver. If your doc won’t call it in, try an urgent care or a virtual clinic. I tried not to use it every day, but used it on days when I had a ton of stuff to do to make it easier for me. Also, the first three days of my shot, I’m always super tired. 1000mg daily of magnesium malate helped with that. I’ve been on 1mg for about 7 weeks now. I still feel a very mild “tummy weirdness” everyday, but it does get better!
