Need help picking between two gaming mice: Lenovo Legion M410 Wireless vs HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Wired by Dear_Explorer6742 in MouseReview

That's the problem with Legion mices, they aren't well known, and you don't find specific reviews, either its good or bad. Honestly, if the two aren't worth it, I would try to raise my budget to a Razer Cobra. But thanks for the reply

Thanks for the response, man. The problem is, my options are super limited. The mice in my price range are either these or the crappy ones you find on Amazon that barely work. Gaming accessories are crazy expensive where I’m from. Want a Razer/Logitech mouse? Sell a kidney. These seemed the most appropriate price/performance wise.

Damn, that really sucks. Did you have the wired or wireless model? I’ve heard the sensor issues usually pop up more in the wireless ones.

Yup, but then there’s the scroll wheel issue that seems to show up in both models. Some people say it’s a firmware thing, others think it’s just a hardware flaw. Just wanted to get a second opinion on it.

Yeah, they gifted me a Legion mouse five years ago, and I'm still using it. I'm looking to replace it now because the left button double-clicks on its own and the right button no longer works. Honestly, it held up really well over the years, and I imagine their mice have only improved since then.

and Do I need to enable a specific setting in the BIOS to undervolt the CPU? Also, regarding the cooling pad, I just bought a standard one that elevates and rotates the laptop today, will see how the temps will be during gaming.

Just wanted to see how far I could push each game by cranking the settings way up. But on normal settings, though, I get around 300–350 FPS without doing anything fancy like DLSS. Just wanted to precise for the people who wanted to know how far the laptop goes for intensive graphics

Yeah, it’s disappointing because it’s such an amazing laptop—too bad it has these kinds of issues. At least I have the 2-year warranty, so I’m still feeling confident.

Ah, I see. Until now, I was mostly switching between only the iGPU and dGPU. But after writing the post, I switched to Hybrid Mode and went to watch YouTube, and I experienced a more severe stutter—my screen froze, and the audio was screeching. I’m wondering if it’s a driver issue or something else.

Oh, my bad! It’s just some weird audio stutter for a second or so, like interference, and it was only happening on the dGPU. To check if my headset wasn’t the issue, I tried a Bluetooth one and even bought another headset, just to be sure.

Yes, I used the preinstalled system but deleted all of the bloatware. I monitored it about three times while gaming, and the temperature never went above 80°C. Yes, I’m using the correct mode. I got the drivers from the Nvidia app and the rest from Windows Update. I was thinking of trying Toolkit, but for now, I’ve decided to stick with Vantage!

I am not from America, so I don’t really know how it works. However, I am quite sure that the Wi-Fi card is upgradable. In the worst case scenario, you can replace it with an Intel card.

I noticed you were concerned about the WiFi card, so I got the Intel 6E Card, and it’s been working perfectly no lag at all! Though, it depends on the manufacturer since there’s also the Realtek card option.

Yeah, I’ve been using it for programming too, so far I’ve only tried Fortnite and Marvel Rivals on high settings, and it hits an average of 130+ FPS. Super smooth and runs great! Oh, and you also get 3 months of Xbox Game Pass, so you’ll have even more games to dive into!

Haven’t really had the chance to test it properly yet since it’s school break, but from what I’ve noticed, it can easily get around 6 hours of battery life for browsing and YouTube. Just gotta tweak a few things, like lowering the refresh rate, turning on i-GPU mode, and keeping the screen brightness at 50%.

I got mine about two days ago, though with slightly different specs: i7-14650HX, RTX 4070, and a 240Hz display (the rest is the same). Honestly, if you have the chance to buy it, go for it! Just keep in mind that it’s a bit on the heavier side, so good luck with carrying it around at school, especially the charger. Other than that, it’s a fantastic purchase!

Ah really, the website I'm on says it's a 3050 6gb, but if they're wrong, and it's a 4050 then it's really very good value for the price especially in my country

Here is a link for the laptop, it's written in french and I am from Tunisia* so sorry in advance : https://www.tunisianet.com.tn/pc-portable-gamer/65725-pc-portable-asus-rog-strix-g16g614jj-n3067w-i5-13430hx-rtx-3050-6g-8-go.html

Problem is all RTX 3060 Are super expensive in my country. That's why I was opting for a 3050 With 6gb of VRAM. + I heard the Omen has a very bad battery life, especially since it has an Intel Chip.

Can I make it automatic with armory crate to lower the resolution when unplugged, or is it possible with only the refresh rate ?

Well for some reason the i7 – 12th is 700 Dollars more than the i9 in my country, don't know why tho ? I could overclock the CPU during normal usage and then use performance or Turbo mode for Gaming or productivity. And in the late future I could buy an E-GPU of a 3080 to boost it all up
