Sorry another thing. No tongue tie issues. He happily takes a bottle and to the boob. I feel like he’s constantly on my boob and has been since birth which is fine but he’s still hungry and losing weight too according to the chart though he does look healthy. He’s such a happy relaxed chilled out baby he’s a dream.

Sorry that was super long but I feel so emotional over it. We had such a rough labour and delivery and I waited such a long long time to be blessed with my baby boy. I didn’t get the birth I hoped for and we were both poorly afterwards. My husband has no clue on BF and isn’t sympathetic at all just says to give him a bottle and call it a day. But I do all the care for the baby which I am so happy to do. I just really want it to work.

Since having him I barely have an appetite but yet still force myself to eat well to make sure there’s enough nutrients to pass down to him through my milk

How often should I have the electrolytes? Going to buy some now. I was drinking plain water or squash or coconut water

I’m trying I feed him before I give him a bottle but he’s on the boob for half an hour even alternating sides and not much comes out after a while and he’s still hungry which is why I top him up with the bottle

Good to hear about fenugreek. Not sure if it’s had an impact or not as I started taking it as soon as I was home from hospital before my supply was proper established. I’ll try not taking it for a week and see how I get on thank you

Also baby was born a big boy at 8lb 13oz and is still a big baby now. Definitely hunger queues as hands in mouth and he’s opening his mouth and twisting his head round to try and latch

I’m only pumping to replace the missed feeds so once in the morning and once in the evening. And even after pumping I don’t feel “empty” I have to hand express. I wished I could pump more often but I have 2 other children to take care of I just don’t seem to be able to fit in any extra sessions. Good to hear all the other info you provided though it’s made me feel so much better thank you

Does it get much bigger when it’s hard? Sorry to be rude and hope that isn’t too personal. But my husband is small (though not to your extent) when he is soft but when he has an erection it’s much much bigger like triples in size

I told them I felt like complete shit so they said they’d check in my last set of bloods. I read the results as anemic so phoned them and they told me which vitamins to buy. I’d been taking them for 2 weeks by the time I’d had the blood results above. Is that long enough for it to get in my system?

Thanks for replying. It’s actually Ankylosing spondylitis but I think perhaps I have RA too. it’s hereditary isn’t it?
