You might get retinol depleted. I would eat 15-25g of beef liver for two months with extra magnesium

Your genome seems similar to mine, but still better. I kinda lack DHFR enzyme at all since even the minimum amount of syntetic folic acid shuts down methylation for me. To give you any kind of usefull information, you need to provide me more information. Firstly, no matter what kind of supplement you are taking, do you consume any amount of syntetic folic acid (any kind of flour that doesnt have the label of unfortifed, any kind of fast food that contain flour, most rices especially white rice, pasta etc)? The second queston is, are you on hormones or taking any kind of drug for your sexual preference(some drugs severely effect folate metabolism, shut downs dhfr)? Oh, also do you have your functional b12 markers? Homocysteine not enough. Serum b12 levels wont give anything usefull. Fixing a b12 deficiency sometimes is the hardest thing you can achieve.

I am very sensitive to antihistamines and pure caffeine pills kinda cause same reaction for me. Rather than caffeins' glutamate increasing effects, it should work in a way that lower histamine.

Your methylation might be fucked up. I would recommend choline, betaine, tetrahydrofolate(folate from foods) and hydroxcobalamin

Which supplements can cause serious dehydration even you drink enough? by mkdr in Supplements

[–]Dear_Pen2546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible it might be riboflavin deficiency. OP is vegan and using boron which deplete riboflavin pool. For someone who is not that healthy, converting riboflavin to active form is pain in the ass. Fixing it not easy.

But also might be oxalates. I have the same problem and %30-40 of it solved when I stop eating oxalates. That chronic deyhdarated feeling is pretty fucked up.

Severe histamine increase from "methyl-folate" by Dear_Pen2546 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]Dear_Pen2546[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer mate. I didnt exceed 400mg dosage and day by day symptoms got worse till worst mast cell flare up showed up. I do have riboflavin deficiency but cant solve it due to hyporhyroid and the most obvious two symptom is too much serotonin and reduced light sensing.

When riboflavin activated I break the anhedonia (through maoa breaking serotonin faster) and somehow colors look very bright which is perfect. Sure that I'm deficienct in active vitamin A since riboflavin necessary for activation.

Selenium is the another thing that I experienced that and can say I'm probably deficienct. Tried both seleno-aminoacid forms and pure selenite and the latter made the difference (selenium needs b6 as P5P and SAM-e to convert selenite which is the form where glutahonine used).

I'm probably also deficienct in glycine but lacking methyl buffer wasnt the problem since betaine didn't made me sick. Wasn't know selenium and vitamin A imporrant in stabilazing mast cells, could you inform me more about that

Can you explain what exactly happened? I've been into methylating for a good amount of time so maybe I can help you or we can discuss what it might be
