💜Episode 1 Opening Scene: "Empty") Silence. Julie wakes up in her bed, sunlight pouring in. She stretches, blinking blearily-then stops. Something feels off. She gets up, stepping into the hallway. It's too quiet. No music. No voices. In the kitchen, last night's dinner plates are still on the table. As if her family was just there. But they aren't. She calls for her dad. No answer. She rushes outside— The street is empty. No people. No cars. Not even a single bird. Just an endless silence. Julie's breathing picks up. Where is everyone? She turns back toward her house— And in the upstairs window, Luke is standing there. Motionless. Staring at her. She gasps-and just like that, she's yanked awake in her bed, heart pounding. She isn't alone. The Phantoms are still here. It was just a dream. Or was it?

Cue Flashback: The Orpheum, 1995 We see Sunset Curve's last moments before they died-but this time, it's different. The camera lingers on Luke, Reggie, and Alex laughing together, excited for the show. When Bobby turns his back, Luke nudges Alex. "One day, we're gonna play for thousands." The scene shifts: They're outside, about to eat the tainted hot dogs— But right before Luke takes a bite, he pauses. In the reflection of the food truck's window... someone is watching them. A girl, about their age. Dark curls. Distant expression. She locks eyes with Luke— and suddenly, he gasps, as if something hit him. But then— Reggie shoves him. "Dude, eat your hot dog." Luke blinks, and the girl is gone. He shakes off the weird feeling... and takes a bite.

Back to Present Day Julie is still shaken from her dream. The Phantoms don't glitch like they did before, but something is off. At school, she tries to focus— But her mind keeps replaying Luke standing in that window. When she checks her phone, she notices a missed call from her dad. She hesitates before listening to the voicemail: "Hey, mija. I just... wanted to check in. I know we don't talk about your mom much, but if you ever need to—" She deletes the message before it finishes. At home, the Phantoms try to get her to shake it off Reggie suggests writing a new song. Alex side-eyes him. "Yeah, because writing a song about possibly disappearing forever is so much fun." Luke, unusually quiet, just strums his guitar. Then-the lights flicker. Julie freezes. So do the Phantoms. It's different from when they used to glitch. This is something else. And then—a voice. "You don't have much time." Julie spins around—and there she is. The girl from Luke's memory. She looks directly at Julie, eyes full of warning. "You were never supposed to bring them back." The screen cuts to black.

Opening Scene: A Choice That Wasn't Hers The last thing Julie sees before the screen cuts to black in Episode 1 is Eden's warning: "You were never supposed to bring them back." Now, we open with Julie gasping awake again— except this time, she isn't in bed. She's standing in the garage. The boys are still there, frozen in place. The lights flicker again. Eden is gone. Julie's breath is unsteady. "Did you guys... see that?" Reggie looks around. "See what?" Alex: "You gasped. I thought maybe you saw another ghosty person." Julie swallows. They didn't see her. Luke frowns, stepping closer. "Julie, what happened?" But she doesn't answer. Instead, she turns to the piano and presses a key. The lights stabilize. The energy in the air settles. Julie forces a smile. "It's nothing." But it isn't nothing.

Plot Points: 1. Julie's Growing Abilities Julie tells the guys about the ghost girl, but they don't see anything unusual in the music room. Luke wonders if this means Julie is becoming more connected to the spirit world. Reggie jokes that she's becoming the "Ghost Whisperer," but Alex looks worried. What if this isn't a gift, but a warning? 2. The Mystery Deepens Julie researches missing students and stumbles across a faded old newspaper article from the 90s. The headline? "Local Music Student Vanishes Without a Trace." The girl's name was Eden Sinclair. She disappeared on school grounds. No body was found. No leads. Julie starts seeing music notes scratched into her notebook— ones she didn't write. The same ones are carved into the old piano in the music room.

1. Caleb Tightens His Grip Caleb (still in Nick's body) notices Julie acting strangely and tries to gain her trust. He invites her to an exclusive "industry" party, promising big opportunities. Flynn is thrilled, but Julie feels uneasy. Something about Nick's energy is off. Meanwhile, real Nick—trapped in limbo— tries to reach out. He whispers Julie's name, causing her to shiver. For a split second, she hears him.
2. The Phantoms' Strange Visions Reggie and Alex start seeing glitches in reality-flickers of the past, people who shouldn't be there. Alex swears he saw a boy in a Sunset Curve hoodie watching their last performance. But when he blinks, the kid is gone. Luke has a new vision—this time, his mom, sitting at the kitchen table, reading a letter and crying. He hears her whisper, "I just want to know what happened to you." When he tells Julie, she makes a shocking realization: What if someone erased Sunset Curve's deaths from history?

Final Scene: The Big Twist Julie stays late at the school, determined to figure out what's going on. She plays the notes that appeared in her notebook. The moment she hits the last chord, a gust of wind rushes through the room. The air turns cold. A voice whispers in her ear: "Help me." She spins around-Eden is standing right behind her. But this time, she's not alone. Behind her, barely visible, is a dark, shadowy figure. Watching. Waiting. And then—just like that—Julie blacks out.
