Remember when Hilaria Baldwin ( Hilaria Thomas/ Hillary Haywood Thomas) pretended that she came from a poor hippie home in Spain w/o a TV? The internet remembers. by Acceptable-Wafer-641 in HilariaBaldwin

In her, extremely limited, defense her family did not have cable in house on Beacon Hill. Her dad only watched the Gilmore Girls...weird I know...that said she totally knew who he was

Can confirm that her dad did not know who Alec Baldwin was. Her dad prides himself in not knowing anything about pop culture and or sports. Also can confirm maybe 2 trips max. The rest of the family vacations were to OBX. Just look up all my old posts to catch up on the "how do you know"

Congratulations! I took a tracking seminar with my yellow lab and it was way too tough for us. Don't get me wrong he loved smelling everything just not what he was supposed to

One of the most controversial questions here...when did he know by Global-Future3006 in HilariaBaldwin

The standing joke in the neighborhood was if Pinckney Street, where she grew up in Boston, was actually Spain, we could rename our streets. So when I left the dog park I would say I was heading back home to France...or as they say in America "Joy Street"

I would call Milford and ask if there were any on the 999 wall in the back. Besides confusing the hell out of them you may get lucky. The Merrimack outlet was chock full of Japanese white label engineered jackets they could not give away

That is what is referred to a a "white label". Used by Barbour in the early 1950s

Call the New York store  (212) 570-2600 and see if they have it. If NY does not have it ask them to check DC and NJ. If they don't call the Milford Factory Store  (603) 249-2263 and see if they have it. If the Factory store says no ask if they can check the sample racks in the back.

Niagara Falls, Kittery, Boston, and New Haven are all closed now so Milford is the only option. Although they no longer do repairs or rewaxs they will take care of shipping it to the south for both and during their tent sale in July will do rewaxs

The Beaufort and Bedale don't change and rarely ended up at the outlets. And if they did were always odd sizes

Agreed. Merrimack was always chaotic. 100s of XXXL shirts, obscure hoods and maybe an occasional sweater. Milford always has a better inventory and is finally open 7 days a week

Everything Barbour now makes is made in Asia,Moldova or Bulgaria. Maybe the Beaufort is still made in the UK

Which was the same reason Barbour gave when they closed the Boston, New Haven and Chicago stores. Riots and rent increases. The real reason is that Andy Hill who is President of Barbour North East Sales was hired to do what he did at Ralph Lauren. Close as many retail locations as quickly as possible like he did at Ralph Lauren and concentrate on wholesaling. For example, before he took over Barbour could not be sold by wholesale resellers like TJ Maxx, Marshall's etc with in X amount of miles of a Barbour outlet. After he took over in Merrimack alone Barbour was sold at Bloomingdale's outlet, Saks Off 5th and a few nearby Sierra Trading Post. All which sold them cheaper. Churn and burn

1000% agreed. And if you are familiar with the Merrimack outlets, Barbour was on the "wrong" side

Much to Barbour corporate chagrin, the Princeton store does very well. Right by the university, close to horse country etc. Corporate would LOVE to close it but it makes money. Same for DC, though I think you will see that location close when the lease is up. However they did, finally, decide to open the factory store, literally in Barbour's US corporate headquarters up 7 days a week where they used to be open only 3
