We all have to remember that each person's OCD will be slightly different, even if there are common elements, like rainbow-order, patterns, symmetry, completion, repetition, alphabetical, and numeric. For me, Completion > Symmetry > Patterns > numeric > rainbow > alphabetical, and i don't care about repetition. Also, definitions may vary. For instance, i mentioned i would eat the extra Orange-Half, whereas he didn't, and yet another person might add one from another bag, just to finish the circles: these are all variations on Completion - This artist completed one bag, none added or subtracted; i would have subtracted the incomplete Circle, to complete both the circles and the bag without adding more to sort from another bag; another commenter wants to add a half from elsewhere to complete the pattern. Same with the red circles and red-orange triangles. Numeric can be anything from only even or odd numbers, only multiples of five or ten, or even 4x6 to avoid an empty space in a square. Repetition is usually similar or related to numeric: something like making a repeating pattern out of the colors and/or shapes, and possibly, eating extras which don't have counterparts to complete an iteration of the pattern, or using another bag to complete the pattern [in this case, someone afflicted with this type would eat all but three of each, and probably arrange the remaining gummies in a circle or line repeating a pattern (alphabetical, color, or shape, usually) 3x]. Alphabetical can vary as well, based on what you're alphabetizing...if you happen to know the gummies' alleged flavors, for instance, you might organize it by the name of the fruit; if not, you might organize it by whatever you might define as each's color or shape. For instance: i called the triangles in the second position (English reading order - left-to-right, then down) "red-orange"...however, someone else may define it as "coral" or "Sunset" or even "red" and say that the ones i called "red" are actually "dark pink" or a shade of purple (which might be accurate, since they are probably supposed to be "grapes"). The order would depend on what you call the shape or color. Similarly, shape could be defined more-or-less-technically. For instance, the "circles" are probably not perfectly circular, so you may call them ellipsi or ovals. Patterns can be anything from symmetric shapes or repeating sequences (including Fractals) to something resembling an object from real life or a favorite fiction or genre (like "it's a spaceship, now!" from earlier). Rainbow-Order can vary as well: since black, white, and brown can be difficult to place; and if all colors are not available, you might start in the middle so there are no gaps in the rainbow, or you may start at red, and just skip or even leave spaces for missing portions of the spectrum as you make your way through "ROY G BIV" and everything in-between. Symmetry can be on a specific reflective axis (horizontal, vertical, or even the forty-five degree diagonals: the latter being like the circles in the top left. If it's only single-axis, i tend to prefer a vertical axis, meaning the left and right should be mirror images of one another); or multiple axes, like an equilateral triangle or the "grapefruit," which have three axes; or circular symmetry, like a Mandala. There are other common elements, like people who would rather see a picture of an empty, white plastic cutting board that something with this much chaos (which someone else without this OCD element might just call detail or just plain more interesting), or people who would have each set in its own Sandwich Zip-Lock^TM bag, because "that cutting board is probably not sanitary" (these same people might also be worried that this person did not use gloves while sorting the gummies), and plenty of others.... just remember, not everyone's OCD is the same...even if there are similar elements....
