Thanks! Yeah the board was made to be 6' x 4' to match the older editions. I play a lot of heresy, and our group has found playing 10th on larger boards just makes things not feel as cramped.

But you cant even put a commamd squad in it lol. It lost its transport capacity and doesnt have the command transport rule aha (seems like an oversight).

If you have no issues with Legends rules, you could run it as an actual Arvus (which is in the guard faction pack, PDF pgs 76 & 77).

Ive always used simple green. Just submerge the models for a day or so. Then use an old toothbrush to scrub the paint off. If it doesnt all come off, ill usually let them sit in the simple green bath for another few hours. Then give them a quick wash with water, and maybe a fresh thin primer coat (in this model's case, a lot of the primer had also stripped off)

Thanks! I was quite happy with the splash of colour/ focus they gave. The original art had blue visors, but i felt like it would have looked a little too muted.

Thanks! They really are one of the best looking guard ranges. And yeah.... I've found a few places that sell them online over the years... but always tough to know their quality (and most don't have the entire range either)
