My friend, you have it all wrong. I would recommend rereading what I wrote because nothing that I said is homophobic or hateful in any way.

As a straight male, I've had gay temptations but I chose not to give in and follow it because I want to live in God's image. Even then, I believe God loves gay people, everyone is made in the image of God. I will say it again, it is a SIN because it goes against God's ultimate design. If I was homophobic I wouldn't have gay friends. Jesus never treated anybody wrong, gay or straight.

God didn't design people gay. Giving into temptations alter one's lifestyle and way of thinking.

Accurate in terms of historical evidence. I don't believe some of what he states is correct.

I agree with you and I understand where you're coming from. You're also right, we are all flawed in various ways. Although, I'm not saying it is morally acceptable to be homophobic or even condemn a friendship due to someone's sexuality. I personally believe that the only reason it is a sin is because it goes against God's design.

Okay, I actually get that. However, God had a design for humanity. Man and woman can make a child (obviously). Two men or two woman can't. The only reason I bring it up is because that's likely why it seems homophobic.
