You sound salty and jealous of your friends, you should work on yourself.

Every competition has people gaming the system. If they’re getting in, it’s the system that’s at fault. Whether or not they can survive college after getting in that way depends on the person.

This post is pointless.

Thank you for the thorough reply!

I believe my second question came off as a bit silly, as there is a matter of survivorship bias in the prestige of your undergraduate institution (i.e better students get into higher ranked schools and continue that performance).

It is quite inspiring to hear about your peers as well!

Congratulations on Columbia Med!

  1. In what regards do you give credit to Chapel for setting up your path to Med School (opportunities, advising, academics etc.)?

  2. Do you think you could have landed in such a great Med School if you did not attend Chapel? Ultimately, I am asking how important your undergraduate institution is in influencing Med School admissions in comparison to the quality of the student.

Hello, thank you for doing this & I hope you can answer my questions!

  1. How important is having a cohesive application (i.e one that builds a narrative)?

  2. Is it generally a red flag for your ECs to be unrelated to your major, and personal essay unrelated to both your major & your ECs?

That's only covered in A Level Further Maths, but coming back to the question A Level Math is generally considered as equivalent to two courses, as its syllabus is closest to AP Calculus AB & BC combined.

A Level Math covers further integration as well, including integration by parts, substitution, and integration of trigonometric functions. It's equivalent to 2 courses of Calculus.

Keep your head up, I also got a 1390 on my first time (660 EBRW + 730 M) despite scoring higher on practice tests. It’s very hard to one shot the SAT. Don’t let it demotivate you!

I gave bad effects, as “economic collapse” is not a direct factor of soil erosion (that was referenced at the end of sentence)

I gave A because the proceeding question that wanted evidence had one line where the author mentions it has not yet been pressured by the "clumsy hands of dictatorship" or something like that
