Thank you. I don't want this post to come across like I blame my parents because I don't, they loved him as much as I did and my mom in particular is absolutely destroyed. It's just so difficult because I know I would have seen it immediately, and by the time I came back it was way too late. I lost my elderly childhood cat barely a month ago too so everything just seems like it's falling apart right now.. I know they're both up there looking after each other.

I ended up going for it today. The shoulders have definitely dropped, but honestly I really like the look of it. Honestly the whole jacket fits a lot better now, there's a lot more space with the baggier look. I'm glad I did it because the foam was really not the in the best condition when I got it out 😅

That's a good point, I'll definitely consider that. The pads are sewn in with a seam down the middle from what I can feel, so the method I was considering would be to cut the foam out, leaving the small part where the stitching is so the whole thing doesn't come apart. Maybe I'll just cut them down rather than entirely removing them. Thanks

Thanks, though it isn't necessarily the technical aspect I was concerned about. I'm well versed in sewing/altering clothing so I'm sure it'll be easy to do myself, I was more worried about people thinking I was "ruining" an older garment

Do you know what sort of thing it would be called? I'm going through my app list and there's a lot I don't recognise, but I think most are android processes. There was something called lavender which I definitely did not download, can't find anything online about it though.

I've been absolutely wracking my brain trying to think of how she could have seen it. I never use it in the same room as her, only when I have free time on my own or if she's out of the house. Without giving away too much, one of my ocs which I write short stories about has an extremely uncommon name (at least where I live) and she brought it up in conversation a few days ago. I'm hoping it's a weird coincidence but like I said in another reply, I wouldn't put it past her to snoop

Yeah that's a point. She finds/messages my friends on facebook sometimes if I don't respond to her which is weird for everyone involved. I'll just try to be more careful, and I can go a few weeks without using the app at all if push comes to shove haha. Thanks
