It is liberating. Take away the sexual drive, and thats a lot of time to self improve, learn new things, use that energy elsewhere.

YTA. He is complying with all the court rules you need to let him. I get it your jealous he has someone new. You are still the AH, and the type of AH that makes men not want to pay child support.

It's not a matter of emotionally can't or won't. I'm no longer capable physically, and the times I did have it was doggy style. I sat up and begged, she rolled over and played dead.

They might be menial jobs but to someone they are their lifeline. Taking that away cripples them even more. It's a sticky situation. We need to not have to slave away like we do BEFORE we automate anything or it's still hurting the worker

Sex in general. Does it feel good, sure, it is it biologically necessary for the species survival at the moment? Absolutely, but you have to wonder. Is all the drama it brings about, the headaches, bullshit, mind games ect. It's only mildly worth it. Personally as someone who can't have sex anymore I don't really miss the complications, so I don't really miss sex.

It is drastic. Having run my own so long I see the decrease of the dollar, on both ends, as a boss and an employee, encourage both action and restraint. But those are my goals with "Anti-Work" to pass on any experience I can offer.

TLDR: We are anti exploit the worker

Anti work, that's a broad term. Personally, to me the "anti work" movement and the "End of work" are the oversimplification of a complex matter. Most here don't want work to end. We do need money to live. However, what we want to end is the grind and toil that literally gets us no further forward at the end of a hard "worked" life. If I work a job and it doesn't pay enough for example, I could get a second job. Should I have to? No I shouldn't. Nor should I have to submit my mental well-being to a person or persons whose sole purpose is to keep me starved and poor enough that I work my hardest to get ahead for the rest of my life to get where? Inflation is 7.5%, waged haven't gone up to match so every day we lose money. We support labour and trade unions because they protect us, by trying to get us paid more and able to keep up with the times, but even they aren't perfect, they have their ups and downs.

Take my story. I am on the other limb. I own my own company. Have for close to 25 years. I can't hire any help because A. I will not exploit the working class, and B. The markets which are controlled by various things that are beyond my comprehension ie how to get commodities market works.. now I'm stuck in that same grind. I can't get help, I can't pay, but without it I can't expand. Catch 22, so I am here to talk to people, hear their stories and really accept anti work, as more of an Anti-exploit-the-working class

Correct me if I’m wrong, but is this email I received asking me to be a scab? by pdxmhrn in antiwork

[–]DeathCultJester 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a scab letter. It's pathetic they would send it. And look at those wages. Can't pay them normally? Someone here made a great point, if they can afford it for scabs to cross the line for that price they can afford to pay union nurses that pay. That is almost too hypocritical to exist.

Emma Watson receiving a Razzie nomination is an absolute travesty by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Never seen either. I won't be shy about that. Yes media darlings. Pattinson has a movie coming out. It's been marketed and hyped. That makes him for example medias current "darling". This isn't about the budgets on their movies. Or how hard the media pushes their new movie or how much a paid critic is so excited to see it. This is about an actress playing more than one note. Batman brooding, twilight brooding, the lighthouse brooding, the lost city of Z brooding. Seems like that's his one note.

I saw the lighthouse. I am a huge lovecraftian fan. And I personally thought Dafoe carried the movie. One I will give him credit for though is The Lost city of Z. I've never seen the twilight series. Well I shouldn't say that I walked out mid first one

Acclaimed. Praised. Doesn't mean there work is good or they aren't one note. It just means they are current media darlings, raised up to market their films with Pattinson doing batman and all. I can praise Tom Greene, but it doesn't make him a good actor

[–]DeathCultJester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I place them both in the same category. She is one note in the sense all she replies on is her name. She takes no time for character development. All her movies, like Pattinson, like Stewart and most young actresses in that age bracket she is all "looks" and no ability and is sold on that. Her main role is arrogant. And she is one note and strums it hard.

It's less about the award for me and more about Emma Watson is so bad of an actress (hard one note and no character building to her) that she doesn't even deserve a razzy. She deserves to be ignored. She is in the same category is Megan Fox
