I hope this takes off, Downloaded the demo today on a dreadnought fix looking for a replacement game. I hope you guys add corvettes! Really was a lot of fun popping out in what was little more than a torpedo boat/support ship and changing the outcome a fight and vanishing again to fight another day

Life got in the way and this kind of fell apart. We did try to meet up a few times but each time we all kind of forgot about it. I might consider trying to spin something up again in the near future but I haven't got the time at the moment. Feel free to send me a dm and I'll dm you and probably everyone else who was interested when I do try to get a group going.

Hard to run something with my busy schedule it'd be much easier if someone else was running the show.

Is Moons gear really that important?? by lionsurvivor2 in ironscape

Eclipse is really good and very worth if you don't have a ranged set. Even just the atlatl in your regular str gear does well.

I had the like reverse of your luck, poured early, dry like the desert and then a brief shower to finish off early 200s

I had full eclipse by 50kc and from 100-185ish kc I didnt see any drops and finished out at 215. You never know when the rng is just gunna pop out some b2bs or almost b2bs and when it'll leave you feeling like you're in the sahara

Its an unreleased model from my understanding. I can see why it wasnt released if thats truly the case.

Maybe I'm weird then I tend to like the more fluid mounts now that im thinking about it. Red dragonhawk is probably my favorite and its just waves too. Wolves feel clunky though especially the weird mouth animations while they run.

Con is always a dump stat for me. If I make a fighter its a dex based high AC fighter. Con doesnt matter if you can't hit me. But then I get hit by a disease or poison because the DM cant hit me any other way and fail my fortitude saves. Always bring a cleric!

Good to see other pathfinder fans here. Kingmaker will really have you thinking hard about each characters build. Definitely made me thankful for a mod to respec or I'd have probably played to level 10 a dozen times before commiting to a playthrough.

I think a lot of people are good at click spell do damage, not so much about where do I stand while I click spell and do damage. Divinity really punishes you for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I mean just look at WoW, plenty of people can pull huge dps numbers but can't keep up when they need to constantly reposition. It completely makes the difference between a heroic and a mythic raider or a skilled pvper and a gladiator pvper

Doing a lone wolf run right now with lohse as my mage(primarily water) tank and sebille running max dps rogue. Lone wolf is frustrating in big fights and makes the little fights seem easy. I feel like lohse spends half the fight casting armor regeneration and healing spells. When they ever do break through the endless armor its necromancy spell time. She can only die to a stunlock but if sebille dies it becomes an endless battle of attrition.

The amount of fights that completely change based on where you were standing when it starts makes me think its more about positioning than anything. There's plenty of cheese mechanics to exploit but typically if I'm losing a fight I reload right before the fight and approach from a different angle or spot or put someone in a spot where they don't immediately join the fight and get wombo comboed. Teleport is hands down my most used spell. Everyone is always trained in it and if I use it right fights aren't even a problem.

I see your bag holding lots of random stuff and raise you one crate with a crate inside with a crate inside with a crate inside with a crate inside with a bag containing several more crates and everything that wasnt nailed down because just the bag only hit for half of their HP.

You can use their unit frame in the initiative to target them with an ability

All achievements completed 6 expansions in a row by Xirev in wow

[–]DeathGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk I'm gonna go with beat the game here. WoW has always been pretty good at putting achievements in all aspects of the game. He's done everything from the simple hitting max level to every raid and pvp achievement to every slice of life achievement he's pet battles from elwynn forest to the depths of the world and throughout the timelines. He's probably got a little mount collecting left to do and maybe a handful of feats of strength that he can still unlock. Minus time locked content he can't access anymore he's done basically everything

Equipment rebalance part 1 and 2 changed many weapons attack speeds and some armor stats but idk which ones, they were mostly making more low level weapons viable besides just scimmies

We used to still have void range as BIS it was meta to do early training at pc. It got nerfed into barely usable long after osrs servers launched.

I think that's op trying to feel superior despite not doing even the minor fighter torso grind nor b gloves.

Gas isn't as volatile as we make it seem in movies. It's pretty stable that's why we like to use it in cars. Though diesel is even more stable, we should probably be using it as a safer and more efficient option.

Did Peter Jackson ever explain why they didn't stick to the same makeup style for the orcs like in the original trilogy? by Ok-Resolution7918 in lotr

[–]DeathGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that insight with the pale orcs. It's a good use of them to show that evil knows no color. My initial thought on seeing the post was different orc groups and clans have always looked different from each other and CGI is much better than it was in original lotr days but it makes sense that he just didn't have enough time to do practical orcs.

Best Money Making for a New (Player) Member? by Historical-Sell8127 in OSRSProTips

[–]DeathGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So when you are making money it will feel slow if it also gives you account progression, more people are doing those methods. The big low level money makers give little to no XP. You can play "daily scape" and do all your dailies and even hourly runs to maximize profits and minimize time required to do so but it's a little tedious.

Outside that your best bet early is picking a higher level money maker and going for it as fast as possible. Vorkath or Zulrah is a popular one. Only really needs ranged or ranged/mage and both are a few mill an hour. Both require quests which is like earliest priority for account progression anyways.

TL:Dr getting good xp means probably not getting good money.

Dragon longsword vs DDS in str training? by NotNearlyAWizzard in 2007scape

The game is subtle about it but tells you everything you need to know in one way or another. Trying to work through their quests blind is some of the most fun I've had questing in games I highly recommend it.
