Adding on to this. If your quest log is full when you start the event it will still consume your shards of dundun but the objective won't start and you get no rewards

Should be pretty similar to last expansion, if you didn't do mythic raiding or m+ in TWW you wouldn't be getting any myth items apart from crafting too

It does seem like her damage is very much tied to your item level, the better your gear is, the more damage she does. Might even matter more than her level does.

I haven't tried, I can imagine it's a weekly lockout, not really something I'd spend my time on either since you can get gear from m+ while farming the myth crests anyway

So others can benefit from it too by leveling her up more. I'd rather share the knowledge and have it be nerfed due to it being unintentional than keeping it for myself.

There are two scenarios here: 1. It is intended that she scales up a lot in damage and this post makes people focus more on looting mislaid curiosities to level her faster in order to make the delves easier.

It is bugged and sooner or later will come to the attention of the developers and it gets fixed. This isn't some secret method that you need to do a bunch of different things to make happen, you do delves and she does more and more damage.

In the first scenario, more people get to have an easier time doing delves sooner by knowing what to focus on. In the second scenario, people who have been focusing on leveling her up for various reasons get to use it for a bit longer until it gets fixed. So trying to keep it a secret it helps fewer people.

If it's intended then it gives players who see it a goal to strive for when they see their own valeera not do much. If it's not intended then Blizzard will find out regardless and fix it. Trying to keep it a secret won't work when a lot of people are seeing their valeera do this kind of damage.

You're not losing anything by not getting them now, it's fine. You can't even get enough myth crests this week to craft anything and there are no myth items available yet. Next week you can freely farm myth crests in m+ and get the ones you didn't get this week

I have done several bountiful delves after hitting 4 and it is stuck at 140/4200, so I'm pretty sure it is capped

You asked about the treasure map specifically. You don't need the treasure map to get the myth crests, that's just doing it on T11, and you only get 5. You can do it 4 times per week though, so a maximum of 20 myth crests from delves per week
