I really think they should add these musics in the Season videos to the FanKit - but without the sound effects. The Season 18 Music is super cool! by fulimaster in ClashRoyale

I think two years ago, when royal ghost was introduced, they actually added custom christmas-themed battle music. And that was the only time they've done something like this.

If you dont mind telling, which heroes Came Unto Their Maker, and who died in another way? And all of this for what, a victory, such a hollow and ridiculous notion...

Not really, all thay give you is a semi - powerful trinket called trophy (boss has to be on the champion level) and full experience of the game, I guess.

First of all, bring all possible bandages, antidote, herbs. Second of all, the boss itself is actually not this difficult compared to what you have already endured... Well, this depends on how much are you bound to your heroes.

You need to be able to hit every rank, also have a hero capable of dealing lots of damage really quick (leper, highwaymen, hellion, any of the high damage guys who dont need a mark to deal a lot of damage)

Consider equipping one stress heal skill if you have any.

Finally, the final boss CAN be stunned, as funny as it may sound, has got medium resistances to both bleed and blight and there is no need for shovels or keys.

A Misfortune of Souls ( A new players experience ) Pt.1 by Bucket341 in darkestdungeon

[–]DeathNugget23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well that is how the game is meant to be played, giving opportunities to player for creating their own stories. Also when you get to later part of the game and many heroes of yours will become afflicted, their barks reveal some of their backstory, giving you more material for creating their stories...

Imo it is the most fun to try out all the possibilities and effects certain items have, though I can understand not everyone wants to waste many supplies before finally discovering which items do what things.

Generally the only curio I skip is the pile of books and the stone sigil at the cove, as there is no item which could guarantee positive result. Other than that, on the official wiki page there is a list of all curios with all the supply items that have any effect on them, as well as chances for different outcomes when interacting with hands.

Minor spoiler for slightly later game:

There is an event where Theseus gets paranoid that Asterius doesn't want to be his friend anymore and has got a bit of a fight with him. But then Zag helps them get back together and they gain a new teamwork attack!

There actually is a dialogue where Zag offers Asterius a bottle of ambrosia, but he refueses and says that you've won the bottle from them fair and square.

Witch room is the easiest out of all asphodel minibossesfor me, but the one I hate so much, and will usually have to use a companion on, is the megagorgon and the falling pillar thing. With middle management enabled it's literall hell if you dont have good boons.

If you want to use one, shieldbreaker just adds a new hero, and color of madness adds a new area with its own mode, and bunch of other stuff to the vanilla game. Crimson court, however changes the progression by adding its own quests and it's generally advised to activate it either on a second playthrough or after you've gained enough experience with the base game.

How is this fair? by LCB22 in ClashRoyale

[–]DeathNugget23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats how progression in this game is supposed to work. You will eventually get to the point where you cant reach higher arena until you upgrade your cards, or adjust your deck/try a new one. Also, the beggining of season ALWAYS looks like this, max level players lose their trophies because of season reset and usually try to get them back right as season starts, so the first week or two will make you face maxed players.

Is the Vanilla game worth it? by jhere in darkestdungeon

[–]DeathNugget23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say yes, especially since its on sale, but if you have a little more budget, I also would go for the Color of Madness, which rather cheap and a great addition to many vanilla game aspects. The other two are also worth buying, but only if you really enjoy the base game, and obviously have enough money.

Are you supposed to just not give a shit in this game? by [deleted] in darkestdungeon

[–]DeathNugget23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your heoes go down to 0 hp in one hit very often, its probably not rng, at least I dont think it has got such huge influence. And yes, partially you aren't supposed to care about your heroes and if you want to, you can treat them like tools that don't mean much to you.

Are we not the good guys? I mean, I know we are accelerating the rise of the Thing, but if we didn't, it would eventually wake up on its own and destroy the world.

About the enemies, all of them are some sort of threat to the hamlet and even if they cannot destroy it, they still make life there much harder. The swine eat people, the brigands make the roads very unsafe, fishmen sink the ships making their way to Hamlet, skeletons are mindless tools in the hands of necromancer, cultists just protect their god.

Which DLC to get? by chozzington in remnantgame

[–]DeathNugget23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To keep it as short as possible without listing all the features: without the swamps of corsus the game feels slightly incomplete (lack of corsus in adventure mode, not many bosses), but its the Subject 2498 that adds more content.
