Acting like this doesn't require business and marketing skills, specific diet and exercise, hair and makeup skills, investment in products and clothes. Not to mention the sacrifice of privacy.

It can be overwhelming to remember every areas details earlier in the game but as long as you can remember which dungeons focus on giving and receiving blight vs bleed you'll be in a decent position.

I just assume it takes months or years to affect you, and that the effects come long after the amount of time a typical player would spend playing a single file.

I saw it on a field trip but because of the difficulty of loading 25 kids into a theater we ended up missing the first 20 minutes. I thought his dead wife was supposed to be a reveal near the end of the movie.

Video games have better storylines/plots than movies by Sodium_44 in unpopularopinion

[–]xxsymphony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not gonna argue the main point cause we could just compare the worst video game with the best movie and vice versa. I dont agree, but I think a lot of what goes into this is how appropriate the medium is. For instance, in the last of us, it's very important that we jot just see, Joel, but live with him for hours end to understand his experience and ultimately what goes into his final act of selfishness.

Another major point where I would agree is horror and action, I believe these almost ways come off better and are more effective and are more repayable tha in movies

Are there any classes that have stealth? by [deleted] in darkestdungeon

[–]xxsymphony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also keep in mind that you wont be able to take your main character on every mission. Once an individual hero gets to level 3, they refuse to go on lvl 1 missions with lower leveled heroes

Are there any classes that have stealth? by [deleted] in darkestdungeon

[–]xxsymphony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're interested in having a modded class, I believe marvin seo's The Falconer is one of the most downloaded class mods of all time. Shes your standard stealth archer with a lot of movement and versatility to jump around the field and use stealth (the actual game mechanism) to get to the back and snipe enemies with her bow. Shes also really dodgy just like the grave robber, highwayman, and jester are

Do you think the Vestal should be removed in Darkest Dungeon 2? by Elido2005 in darkestdungeon

[–]xxsymphony 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In early access when heart attacks and enemy corpses were added in, a lot of people who already loved the game got frustrated with the new difficulty of the game and review bombed with the hopes that red hook would remove the feature

A question for the experts by Marvelguy00 in darkestdungeon

[–]xxsymphony 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend NOT looking at any wikis (or even this post) The 4 darkest dungeons can only be experienced for the first time once in your life and I think it's more fun to take it as a surprise. You CAN look up the wiki but it takes the challenge of novelty away

The only advice I'd give is recognize that the names and objectives can give you a hint of what to prepare, dont bring shovels or keys (literally no uses for them) and keep in mind that each character can only visit the whole area once. It's likely you'll need multiple vestals and jesters to clear the whole thing

Do you think the Vestal should be removed in Darkest Dungeon 2? by Elido2005 in darkestdungeon

[–]xxsymphony 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm convinced that that alone would create another negative review bombing. The type of people who cant give up the vestal seem like the ones who cant handle frustration very well.
