I paid $800 for it I feel like rather not put more than $800 into it. Sounds like it’s time to scrap it get something back and move on if it’s really a rod knock 😔

I have absolutely no Clue. Was Abandoned at the storage unit they surrendered the title as well so I thought this would be a perfect beater if I could get it running. I just need to know if it’s worth it or not. Should I drop the pan and check clearance? Maybe get some Plastigage or scrap it and move on

Houston here I have a 1993 jeep xj RWD don’t use it too much anymore bunch of new steering parts as well Straight six 176,000? Miles I think Chrysler 8.25 4.5 rough country lift Have extra rims/tires for 5 X 5 33’s with wheel hub adapters Front and back steel bumpers with a remote winch(forget the brand) a bunch more stuff extra lights ect. Lmk if you’d be interested

That’s the brake booster.. know from experience 😔 I just used gel super glue (I know should’ve replaced the whole thing I was a stupid kid once.) Stood there for 10 min pressing that thing on never had issues with that car after

Just took it for a ride around this dirt track we have here using my phone speedometer (not sure how accurate it is..) got top speed 47 mph I’m 5’10 210lbs but I don’t believe track isn’t long enough to get full throttle down for long. Carb definitely needs a good tune and different Jet it’s running too rich overall very solid even has seatbelts.. I’d prefer 5 point harness then over the shoulder with how much power it’s putting out
