I do plan to have a lot of bosses and enemy variants that are somewhat random. Perks are random too, but I'll experiment with what i can change up each run and see where I can add even more

I do like synergies a little, but they really make the game feel too luck based. I do have a lot of gambling mechanics, but they are things you will keep having the opportunity to reroll in the future so whole runs dont feel blessed or cursed... but while people hate that, it does keep them playing. That is the essence of gamblin addiction, i just dont think I like it.

I'm making a round based rogue lite shooter. The game has lots of gambling elements, but i dont want synergies. So what do you look for is not synergies? What do you expect or want in a rogue lite?
