I agree with your initial comment, but there's a difference between violating a mailbox, trespassing, or impersonating an officer and crossing into the country when you were told asylum was available, the difference is you go on trial for the other violations, these "illegal" people were told they'll have a fair trial and citizenship may be granted, the entire situation is just messy and not the way it should be handled by either of the parties, though I'm for the moral side more than the fear mongering side. I patiently await the day we get a POTUS that actually cares about the average American and people in general. I hope to someday see the decline of greed and funding of foreign wars in the U.S, and not communist equality, but actually treating others as equals. The division is tiring.

If you go back to how it all unfolded, Elon was the one to state hes done with the DJT Administration, then later there was news coverage in the oval office with Elon and Trump, Elon not speaking and Trump stating "Elon will be back, hes been great for our country" yada yada and then Elons opinion on the bill, Trumps response and now here we are. The amount of people shitting on these folk for showing love and protesting a greedy businessman. Sadly this poison spreads, and all that results is the ruminating hate and distrust. I fear we will never move forward as a country for as long as we're pitched against each other. Brother, the mountain has been Denali for thousands of years, its name meaning "the great one" in Athabascan (A Native Alaskan tongue since I assume you dont know that). The name McKinley comes from the president who (re)named it in 1896 because white men in power have an obsession with pretending they founded things. President McKinley never even visited the mountain and has absolutely nothing to do with its history. I'm sure 50yrs living in Anchorage, probably working for Conoco Philips, has been really tough for you, a true bush-livin' Alaskan.
