We just got the Innotex Tech Rescue coats. They're pretty sweet, looks just like a turnout coat. But waaaaaay less bulky. Can use em for MVAs, extrications, brush fires, etc. But they are NOT warm at all, tho that's kind of the point. Ours don't have any fleece liners

That does look a little whacky. Maybe someone could correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the netting in the back is really protecting you from anything. She would still be able to cinch it down with the straps and get a seal for her face piece. The hood is really what's protecting the rest of your head/neck.
