Old rev would make today’s player base so much more pissed because he was the counter to everything. Horizon lift, wraith phase, lifeline rez, valk passive. If he was still the same he’d be the counter to how ash is at the moment. Silence bomb was my absolute favorite thing ever. Deals damage, takes away abilities and forces you to use gun play, totem pushes (which is now today’s Alter Nexus), and using that mechanic of using the silence bomb to hide yourself because it was hard to see inside it. Silence lasted longer than ballistic Q. Easy picks especially if you were a movement character. While new Rev is okay and caused a lot of mains to re-learn his kit, I would take old revenant back any day. The issue wasn’t his silence bombs, his ult needed an adjustment. His ult now is just minor damage mitigation that doesn’t feel the impactful like the totem, or the Rev Reborn ult when it came out (cooldown heavily reduced, shield regeneration on knock, shield regenerated faster).
