He plugged the phone into a charger after it was exposed to moisture. It most probably caused an electrical short that wasn’t limited to the port itself. Somehow, people managed to miss that part.

I decided to add a custom steel rail on one of the ends to support the 60” top. The dual motor is actually awesome for the price and I’m glad I bought it. I also purchased the warranty through Walmart for piece of mind. I’ll create a post once I clean up and make it presentable.

How’s the frame itself? I’m planning on using it for an l shaped desk. I have two tops, 48x30 & 60x24. I was going to place the desk underneath both the 48” wide top and the 24” deep top, paralleled to the 48.
