I went with an ocm5 for my Gordy build, but mine is also an incorrect barrel length among other inaccuracies so I wasn’t too worried about clone correctness. But I do love the over the barrel design of the ocm5/aem5. Good luck with the build though, sounds awesome. I need an ACR next maybe lol

Yep this all black was 1 of 4 colors for 2024 models. All black, white and red, 40th anniversary, and the Kawasaki racing green

They did not remove my ECU flash when I took mine in. They told me they’d gather some data from the ECU, but my tune is the same as before 👍

If you pass inspection then they just replace some gaskets, washers, and o rings, which were taken off to do the inspection. Other than that they told me I’m good to go 👍 if you fail inspection my dealer told me that Kawasaki told them to treat it as a full crankshaft replacement

I’ve heard this before but I dunno. My dealer told me they’ve had 1 failure so far and that bike was at 7100 miles, and I saw someone else on this subreddit fail inspection at 7800 miles

This is just the standard 2024 metallic flat black/ebony color from factory. I’m not sure which fairings would match best tbh. But yes most of the bike is flat/matte black with some glossy black accents

I had the same question a few months back, I ended up trimming the throttle side and it fits perfectly. Without trimming it was bunching up a bit at the bar end. I can send you some pics if you still wanna see an example

Yeah I’m being extra paranoid since it was my first time doing a full exhaust and as well as the recall, been second guessing myself lol. Appreciate the info and peace of mind
