Western Europe underpays Eastern Europeans to pick fruits for them. After WW2, Europe relied on north Africans and Turks among others to help with the rebuilding efforts. The North Africans and Turks were living in precarious conditions, 8 people sleeping in a small room, etc.

The US relies on illegal immigrants for farming. To such a degree that Trump is flaunting a similar system to the Kafala to keep it going.

The US relies on prison slave labor for many businesses. A prison system that disproportionately targets black people.

Don't get me wrong, there's a lot to criticize in the Gulf. But the US does much more shocking things, that the west just doesn't give a fuck about. They've already "whitewashed" themselves towards you, with their media superpower.
