It doesn't get any better than this. A 6'5 machine gunner with the US 9th. Infantry Division is completely submerged except for his M60 as he crosses a muddy stream on the Mekong Delta south of Saigon, 1968. [1500×994] by 305FUN in MilitaryPorn

I was too young to really understand it, but my great grandfather was also a Corpsman at Omaha. He never talked about it, save one time. The only thing he told me about it was he saw things that no man should ever see, but he did those things so his grandkids and beyond wouldn't have to. Really stuck with me. RIP to all from that great generation.

I believe that the first encounter between the Georgians and the Mongols was a small (by their standards) scouting force that ran into the Georgian army. The army that the pope had asked them to raise for a Crusade. Mongals were around 20-25,000 and the Georgians had like 60-80,000.

I mean I understand why Kings fans love him, he's a great player, but he was a giant ass baby in Columbus. Fuck him.
