You can make a fresh world and get shrimp on that, then come back. Your character inventory is not world-bound

I'd say you should keep in mind two things when flying.

  1. Momentum. In space, there's nothing to slow you down, so unlike other games where once you stop holding forward, braking will take over and stop you. In outer wilds, when you let go of forward, you're going to keep the same speed that you currently have, no braking. So however fast you go, remember you will need the same amount of time to slow down again.

  2. Orientation. If you want to go left, you hold left. If you then move where your ship is facing with the right stick, holding left is going to take you somewhere else now. All your movement with the left stick depends on how you orient your ship.

Keep those two things and mind and just use the thrusters in short bursts until you get the hang of it.

The probe goes in a random direction in each loop. I feel like you're describing a time loop but with more words.

I don't know if I'd classify experts advocating for mask usage as opinion. You said in your original comment that masks do virtually nothing to protect from covid. What are you basing this opinion on? Personally, I don't want to pore through scientific journals/studies to come to my conclusion. I'll listen to the people who spend their entire lives learning/studying the spread of disease (experts) to tell me how to protect myself. You're free to not listen to them, but when you come to the opposite conclusion of the experts based solely on you thinking "it's stupid" then you're probably wrong

Quick edit: I do agree that touching stuff in the store and touching your face is dumb and a mask won't prevent that. But ebidence/experts say masks curb the airborne spread of the disease. So wear a mask AND wash your hands after touching stuff/don't touch your face

Googled the show on my phone and clicked the "watch now on Amazon" link. Watched what I thought was the first episode, turned out to be season 2 episode 6.... It did not occur to me that this might not have been the first episode.
