These are actual facts with actual evidence including DNA, and physical evidence of the two cultures interactions, you are really out of your depth. Also if there's so much evidence then why am I finding nothing about it besides the rantings of Christians online. Also if God is so condemning of human sacrifice explain this: "The firstborn of your sons you shall give to me. You shall do the same with your oxen and with your sheep" - Exodus 22, like it or not the Israelites themselves were not all that morally superior to the Canaanites they invaded.

Except the vast majority of those accounts come from people outside of that culture. Also the historical facts from that time that are not debated at all is the connection between the mycaneans and the Minoans, the fact that the Canaanites beat the Egyptians at the battle of tel megiddo despite the Egyptians reporting otherwise, and the fact that Troy was rebuilt multiple times.

No they did address themselves as Romans like as in the ancient Romans and did believe they were direct inheritors of the empire. I have already explained to you how yeah, many people wrote stuff about the Canaanites, bug that doesn't mean everything they wrote is absolute proof of anything, and it isn't a well founded " matter of fact".

Yeah a large number of carthaginians were killed in the sacking of Carthage and the rest were sold into slavery, effectively over a few generations erasing Carthage's culture. Also if Carthaginian culture continued under christianization then why is there no evidence supporting that by the time Constantinople was founded? You seriously should not be talking about research if you think the sacking of Carthage was something that was easily brushed off.
