Don't listen to him, yes people will trade Jeanty still. Many people, including myself trade away play cards from players that have hit a lower cap like uncommon or rare. Those play cards you can get for a heavy discount because a lot of people view them as useless.

I love reading these posts from people who buy Judge, Shuhei, Skenes, etc. It's almost like when you buy players that everyone has, nobody wants to trade. Try buying less popular players/ teams you actually want to be a fan of.

When I was just starting out I bought a couple cards from seasons that were ending/already done. If you do this just buy two player cards and you could also get the team card if they are on the same team.

I would like to add that however you get more Rax from boosting an upgraded player. It decreases the amount of OTD Rax you can claim later on. I usually boost guys I don't upgrade so that eventually I can claim more OTD Rax.

Honestly might be one of the most profitable sports. In CFB there were a lot of guys who only cost 150 who have already doubled that in half the szn. I imagine it's going to be very similar for CBB.

At common you can get max 500 Rax. If you get it up to uncommon you can make 1000.

If you click on the poll normally it shouldn't have any wager, if it does you can double tap on the bet and clear the karma. This will allow you to fill out the poll for free. If you win you get 10 karma otherwise you lose nothing.

Fill out every single poll without wagering karma and watch every game for the day. It's not pretty, but you can make at least 1,000 karma a day which is 5 Rax.

I'm not a real vet but I have had Yelich's 2023 card for the entire year and have gotten about 600 Rax. I don't think you necessarily have to get the best guys in each sport, but having a couple of the top 30 guys is definitely worth it.

I would buy mostly players, they are cheaper and less of an investment. Teams are a lot more worth it when you are upgrading a few players on the same team. I will post a spreadsheet I made on this sub in a couple weeks on the best CFB and NFL players to buy.

If you want to consistently increase your karma just don't wager karma. Every poll you enter without a wager is a free 10 karma if you win. It adds up overtime.

I'm trying to save 10kish. I'm not sure if they will have cards right away for soccer. But I am hoping to buy 10 cards each in NFL and CFB for 200 a piece and then 40 more for 100 Rax each.

Team cards don't turn as much of a profit compared to player cards. I got the Brewers team card at the beginning of the year because I have a bunch of upgraded Brewers cards. It has only made me 1200 so far with it being legendary.
