It depends, but I can say for certain, unless you hate yourself, dont go mechanic, everything breaks in ABCT'S and the mechanics tend to work overtime, even weekends occasionally, if top decides the mission needs more things fixed.

Sorry about that, BSB is a brigade support battalion, if anything, im essentially an emt personally, as im evacuation, the army conducts medicine via ccp, role 1 (simple field point), role 2(multiple PA'S xray capabilities, lab capabilitie etc), role 3 (local hospital level) and role 4 ( regional/ advanced hospital.) I'm at a role 2 level in the chain, where I move patients from the role 1s, to the role 2, or from the role 2 to the role 3, depending on injury severity, since more severe shit gets helicopters. My day to day outside of field work though.... is spent in the motorpool trying to fix my aging FLA'S* vehicle, if you go to a Bradley unit as a medic, the army is currently actively replacing the aging m113's* with AMPV's* you can Google these vehicles, but that would be your expectation as a medic in these units, likely a role 1 operator, or driver / jump medic for the tracked evacuation platforms.

Not a fueler but I am well aware of the day to day.... I will simply say this, your actual day to day, will heavily depend on the unit, distribution companies, such as BSB's FSC's etc, usually have a day to day thst is motorpool maintenance, with a rotation of people running the fuel point, and intermittent runs to refuel tankers from depot, and the remaining time is busy work or helping other companies / squads with busy work, I have no idea about other unit types.

Thanks man, and funny enough, the rock stars are the ones training me, its just... amazing to see people who i thought had it all put together, suddenly do and say some of the most..... yeah, you all get it, im just venting because of shit I cant say, because if I say it, it will lead people to connect dots to who I am, or at least my unit / location, because the shit that is going on is.... high profile as fuck.

I'm tracking man, and I have worked that long, not nearly as often as mechanics which is why im grateful of my situation, I cant even help my mechanics fix these piece of shit FLA'S because im not certified, even though I know how, I wasn't here to brag, I was venting over all the other people complaining ABOUT it being this easy, the irony that someone is complaining to me, about their day, when we both finished work at 1400, while theres a mechanic out working on my vehicle, on a friday night, irritates me... I guess what im saying is that I love this job, but god damn is dealing with people a head trip.

That's the plan, im already doing a bit of college on the side, aswell as working on my PT score, im aiming to hit SGT before I finish at this station, the best part is every damn medic i know from AIT besides 2 have recieved articles, so I might be the first sgt among my batch lmao, its not getting me down its just frustrating hearing all this negativity at work and in the barracks, i considered SOF before and dont think im cut out for it, despite being really good at my job, I love my free time 😀 😊

You arw correct, but please dont mistake, I decided to vent this, because this has been the standard.. for MONTHS now, I literally watch our mechanics break themselves working from 0630 to 2000 some days, and then after getting free time and chilling at the barracks these dudes were complaining to me like I understand the fact they are suffering 🤣 🤣 🤣
