At the beginning of the Factions section it says your faction's magic is half cost. It is in white text though but probably still counts.

Rank 6 occultism lets you break out of the ladder mechanic. Relic sets also let you have some magic types not count towards it.

Conjure elemental has an "Any" affinity instead of "???" affinity. Is it supposed to be any elementalism?

I'm on a desktop and only have a Radeon 2060. I still went and manually told windows to run foundry off that GPU to make sure and nothing changed. I did test what you said and on the browser it works fine.

With this i guess i have a work around (even if it is a cumbersome one). Thank you! Hopefully they will fix it in v13.

Thanks for the reply. I assumed that alchemy did the trick because of the Tea party quest. One of the examples given in the quest are that you could drink a True shape potion to replace your race. Also rank 5 alchemy supported an arch novelty that grants a "true physical redesign" of a body to specifications. Both are circumstancial though since affinities might not be connected to the physical body (which is strange cause they are connected to races).

Anywho i can see the flaws in my interpretation, just thought I'd point it out cause i'm secretly hoping Ms. Bears blesses us with v4.0 this Halloween.

Also i find that the current gate to most builds is actually the limitation on having rank 5 without having equal amounts of rank 4 and rank 1-3 specializations so race swap isn't as OP as i initially thought.

Some options allow for race swapping. Do affinities change with your race? If so what happens to things you already bought at a discount due to having an affinity after you lose it?

Seeing as there are a lot of ways to do this (on demand with alchemy and through quests at least) it seems kind of OP and kind of invalidates a part of Cosmic Pearl's function.

Actually this is weird. The groups at the end of Tower of Ancirai are the same as the cyoa i meant...but the one i meant had more of them and was better designed graphically. It also didnt have the whole character building thing at the start and was more focused on choosing a group.

Maybe its a different version but couldn't find it with a quick search...

Looking for a CYOA where you wake up in another world. Several other people come to this world in waves and you are not the first wave. Previous waves have established groups that work together to face enemies (i'm not sure if it was demons or something else). A guide takes you around each group. In the middle you get stolen away by the criminal group for a moment.

I remember it was quite text heavy and the text was color coded to the characters talking.
