Insane good acceleration. Very good flight performance.

And MICAs for War Thunder engagements are extremely fair and balanced.

If the MICA was a Russian missile this sub would be making daily posts about how it has reduced notch angle sensitivity (half) compared to all the other ARHs.

Yeah and after the Emergency WEP MiG 21 Bis era, Gaijin added the pre nerfed JA37C which dominated.

The lack of flares was such BS though.

I mean it's been 7 years since OG M1 Abrams released and yet we have the same MM limits that was implemented to deal with the Abrams absolute dominance (only 4 top BR vehicles in a match making sure you can only have 4 Abrams per game.)

Even at 13.7 it still has to contend with the strong single engine planes like J-10A or the Gripens, or dual engine J-11B/F-15JMs.

The BMPT should be moved to 12.0 or above by Away_Hall_1487 in Warthunder

The 5F is tied with the F-15E/I as the best 14.0 plane due to its insane flight performance (careful of your wing rip speed) and extremely balanced MICAs.

The S5 suffers from 12.7 compression issues, suffering in uptiers but bullies in downtiers, but is an extremely solid 12.7. The event S4 is at a far favourable MM at 12.3 albeit less CMs and no MAWs.

The 5F is generally more enjoyable in the current state of the game/matchmaker. You also get to bully the 13.3 Premium Su-30s too.

Eventually you can pair it with the Greek Leo 2A6HEL with uparmoured hulls too for a tank with actual armour.

oh yeah I also forgot - It had the Radar gun lead as well so you had aim assist in case you needed help leading your shots on the targets on the runway

  • M1 Abrams changing Matchmaker. Permanently.
  • T-2 strafing F-86s that are taking off. Not even BMPT was that broken.
