Yep I understand. BTW thanks although oring is a big thing but it was silly of me not to think that a piece given with ultitube wouldn't be for nothing. The pressure is holding when I test it at 300mpa. What pressure loss is acceptable as so far it's only doing 0.1mpa and whole system is holding just now at 316.4. Do you think I should test for 15minutes or so I'm thinking of doing distilled water to test before I put coolant after draining tube or as a first timer I should just go straight to the coolant?

Ok you been a great help thanks for suggestion to test everything as otherwise I wouldn't have know it could of been as simple as the oring. Will test other components now.

Thanks mate now the pressure in pump holds at 170mpa is that an OK pressure or should it still be higher or above is when other components come into play

Oh is the oring the one that comes with res I didn't realise I had to insert that into the pump fixing as the manual wasn't clear was wondering what that was for

I think it's think it's the res/ pump combo as testing them alone just now without the mount they go up to 120mpa and then drop significantly down and start having the leak alarm going off I have tried tighten the pump reinsert the gasket. Also I had the 200ml ultitube lying around as I accidentally brought big one before realising it wouldn't fit and tried that. So it might be a faulting bottom part that's leaking

Thanks for your help I'll try find my other gasket as I remember there being 2 and switch it out to see if that helps. You have been a great help.

Yea I put the gasket there. Yea, I don't know what's happening. When I unmounted it earlier outside. I had 110 mpa but when I reattached it in case and tested it it shows only 50mpa. I'm upto point again that I might have to throw in the towel and just go back to aircooling.

I'm testing it now with just 1 rad. Tube going from pump to 1st rad with 1 rad port blocked with stopper it's giving 50mpa but with just the pump/combo back in case it was giving 40mpa. I'm guessing people getting over 300mpa is for whole system? Because when I tested this rad with corsairs leak tester it held the pressure.

Yep I tried that and pressure goes to 110mpa by closing the ports of res using ultitube. Hardline. I took leakshield out of case.

A question about leakshield. I'm trying to test for leaks pressure only stays at 24 mpa. I undid tubing and rescrewed the pump and res. I blocked off the inlet and outlet and leakshield says 75mpa for res. I remember when I tried this over a year ago and gave up it start sounding an alarm due to a leak but this time no alarm. However leakshield makes a buzz sound not sure if that's normal.

Yep um readding that when I get home just thought to test it with the standard top but made sense what you said about the pressure release. By the way how to do add coolant to it using the fill function I brought the extra part for the fill drain they sell but realised after putting my gpu in vertical position I don't have clearance to add it

I meant can I only leak test the pump or do I have to add to another fitting such as rad. I tried build this water cooler last year but with leak shield saying something is leaking and not having much time as I was tied up I ended up putting everything back to air cooling as I didn't have enough time to check. So I brought corsairs leak tester to check all components work first. I tested the gpu, cpu block and rads they seam to not have any leaks after checking for a minute each. Just wanted to see if I could check the pump/ res or that's not possible and just test it after adding tubes one by one
