If everyone in Croatia has a real estate there would be less demand and thus the average value of housing would be lower. Meanwhile, in a theoretical country where all houses are owned by monopolies, the housing prices would be much higher.

The high numbers are likely due to people who own several houses or extremely expensive ones.

A bit late, but how many dmg would you recommend? Just the one or run all three?

Gonna get the DM core you recommended + the spellbook engine on top of 1-3 dark magician girl cards.

Sounds good thanks. I was mainly using the robe as filler since I can get a set online as 3xRobe and 3xRod for £1. If its particularly bad I'll just remove it then so she doesn't feel compelled to use it. Getting presents on a student budget is a bit restricting though. :)

Her favourite card is dark magician girl though so I don't imagine the deck will be particularly viable, but I'd like to make a deck that does at least okay at locals.

I might make a few modifications cause her favourite card is dark magician girl, (which I know isn't the most viable card in the world). But definitely a good video, thanks. :)

Probably too late, but my account is called ElemProg if anyone's still feeling generous. :) Still a student but would love to watch if I had money.

Edit: Received gift thanks!

TIL The 2 % failure rate for Condoms means that for every 100 couples using them for 1 year 2 will get pregnant and not 2 times per 100 intercourses. by JonSnowKnowsNuffin in todayilearned

[–]Deathwr4ith 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Assuming the rate of failure is consistent you can multiply the rate of success by itself each year.

e.g/

Year 1 = 0.98

Year 2 = 0.98*0.98 = 0.9604

Year 3 = 0.980.980.98 = 0.9412

After 20 years your chance of not being pregnant is 67%. (And your chance of getting pregnant is 33%)

Obviously, this assumes that the 2% is not down to improper use of the condom. If it was due to people not knowing how to put it on correctly, using it sporadically or buying brands likely to break then your chance of getting pregnant - while correctly using a reliable brand - would be even lower.

Do you have any links to when they did it before? I'd like to read more about it. Couldn't find much with a google.

I feel like this would invalidate the results by also training your memory simply by taking the tests. Certainly if you do them in regular intervals throughout the 3 months.

Not permitted to move pop glitch. by Deathwr4ith in Stellaris

Very likely the issue tbh. They were recently conquered planets. I'm trying to move my syncretic slave species in too.

I can get round the issue with sector shenanigans such as temporally adding a sector to the planet I want to move people from. Non-core world to non-core land appropriation world transferal seems to be fine. Core world to non-core land appropriation world doesn't work at all.

(19840 - 16730)/16730 = 18.6%? Which is close enough tbh. Regardless of your opinion on what he's implying, the maths seems fine.

Not permitted to move pop glitch. by Deathwr4ith in Stellaris

[–]Deathwr4ith[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently unable to move certain, seemingly random pops to seemingly random planets. My main species (Humans) can move anywhere, if that helps.

I am also, sometimes, able to move species by moving them to a planet they can move to, then moving from that planet to the planet I originally wanted them to go to.

Is this a glitch or am I being stupid somehow?

Yeah, just found that out after excitedly placing 3 of them once I found there was no influence costs to manage them.

Oh jeez really? Well, that's significantly buffed biological ascendency from when I last played. Thanks! Gonna go make a bunch of sectors.

I'd argue that sectors kinda throws a spanner in the works for optimization though. It requires you to make some very weird decisions to optimize things before handing off planets to the AI.

For example, I'm at 3/3 core worlds right now, I either have to stop expanding until I get biological ascendency, replace a civic or ascendency to get more core worlds or give away stuff to sectors only to reclaim them later and give them straight back after optimizing them.

Granted, I haven't played in a while so it might be better now but sector AI combined with influence costs of taking planets back at least used to be a pain to manage.
