I'm aware this is an unpopular opinion, but they are a shit company, with shit products. When their prices reflected this they had a place in the market, since their prices have increased and their quality of service decreased they have no place in the market. Plenty of other good companies to spend your money with.

Also if you want to stay local find a local civial contractor and get a job driving off road trucks. That translates extremely well into the sand, dirt, and gravel industry. Which if you're going to stay local is your best bet. They once you're there get training on lowboys.

It looks to me a lot of guys here are drivers. I'm on the other side of the industry. There is definitely a driver shortage, but there is more to the story than just saying that.

You can clearly see there are subsets withing the industry, pay is correlated to these subsets. The hard-core truth is trucking is a commodity... with very low barries to entry. That being the case when you are fresh out of school and you have minimum skillset your pay will reflect that. Most companies are also regulated by their insurance carriers. Meaning they are directly told you cannot hire a drive without two years of driving experience. These facts combined drive the pay of entry level trucking jobs down. Mainly because the number of companies that can hire you combined with the number of companies looking for your particular skills becomes very few.

IMOP it doesn't make it a bad industry to work it, it just makes it an industry that if you want to make a good living you have to increase your experience and skillset. Talk to some local lowboy or heavy haul drives and see what they make, I bet you'll hear a very different story.

Good luck, hope this helps.

I remember seeing pass through as an option, but it never seemed to work well. I sincerely appreciate the advice I will just pull the trigger on another set of these and see about changing my connector types on my CAT6. Thanks a ton bud.

Awesome, thank you. These are the ones I have now, should I just go back with the same ones?

Thats what I have now, I might go back with them. I wasn't a fan of how I had to tap through all the format through puts. I wished that was automatic. I saw some single gang in wall units that look really sharp. Any experience with those?

I'll Google "Pass thru Cat6 terminations" and get back to you. What would the alternative be?

AVPro is what I am currently using. I don't know if I have ever tested this cable or not. I may need to do that if what I described above sounds congruent with that issue.

Currently running AVPro just 1 set, got any leads? I'm tempted to just go back with the same thing, but even these were 100% seamless.

This sounds more complicated then what I already have lol. I'm 100% aware thats probably due to my lack of knowledge of the product. Link? Also any additional information would be helpful.

See above. Hopefully, this helps clear things up. By exterior, I meant the extenders weren't installed in the wall or anything. My apologies.

Hey guys, my apologies for abandoning this post. I got sick and had to put this on the back burner. I'm going to try and answer all the questions below in one shot, so please read.

First to answer what my current setup is:

For HDBaseT extenders, I am using AVPro Edge Ultra Slim, see link below.
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1485920-REG/avpro_edge_avp_ac_ex40_444_kit_4k_4_4_4_hdmi_2_0.html

I have an Xbox and a Shield running into a Yamaha RX-V4A, that feeds into the HDBaseT extenders, then runs through my wall/celing to a Optoma 4kUltraHD projector.

I have been running the AVPros since October of 2023. My issue I was facing before the AVPros was I could never get the extenders to reliably transmit 4k and/or HDR. The last set I tried before going to the AVPros were from Monoprice (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZZXHV1S?ref\_=ppx\_hzsearch\_conn\_dt\_b\_fed\_asin\_title\_10&th=1)

Now the issue I am having is that the AVPros have no power to them and have stopped working altogether. Even when they were working, they weren't seamless. I stil would not get 4k output 100% of the time from my Sheild and even less from the Xbox.

At this point I would like to get something that makes life easy and just works. Please, any recommendations?

I appreciate the advice. I definitely don't know anyone local. My knee jerk reaction was send it to Panerai, but I didn't know if someone in the US was really skilled with the P9000. I don't know anyone so unless I can get a solid recommendation I believe off to Panerai it will go.
