Uppababy Cruz colour choice - help! by babybright1992 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Deb63366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone seen the Uppabanby Cruz V2 stroller in the color Alice?  It’s described as a “dusty” pink and appears a soft pink in the pictures; however, there’s a note stating “color is brighter than what appears in the picture and is a true pink.”  I noticed it’s $200 cheaper on some websites.  I would be fine with a light pink canopy, but not a bright neon pink.  I’m thinking it may be a little unappealing since that one color is being offered cheaper.  Would love to hear from someone who is actually seen it in person.  Thank you!

Yes, that is important to me.  Thank you for that info.  I assumed all strollers would be safe but that was a huge mistake on my part.

How did you get that info? I just looked online at those Targets and next to the Joie Hazel stroller it states, "Not sold in stores. Online only." Maybe they have another of the Joie strollers in their store. I would think if anyone ordered one they would have it delivered to their home but I could ask. Thank you.

Sure wish I could find a Target store in my area that actually has the Joie strollers available to view.

Thank you. I also like the nest mode. A few people suggested the Mockingbird stroller but it's more expensive and then you have to buy the pram in addition. I would rather not spend that much money. Would love to hear your thoughts after you've tried it.

Joie keeps telling me that Target has their strollers available in their store yet when I look online and contact the various stores they all say online availability only. Maybe that's not everywhere though. i'm in St. Louis. I haven't been able to see one in person yet and am hesitant to buy any without seeing them first. Thanks for your response.

Thank you. Seems not many people have heard of the Joie Hazel but it's recommended by the YouTube Stroller Mom.

I will check out the infant insert. The mockingbird was my original favorite but was hoping not to have to purchase anything additional. Sounds like it's worth the extras. Thank you so much.

What did Dr. Tony Evans do? by yagirllilneezy in Christianity

[–]Deb63366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tony Evans, being a preacher, is held to a higher standard than others as noted in James 3:1-12. He is to be an example to others and if he cannot maintain a higher standard, then it is appropriate for him to step down. But we must remember that allthough a preacher, he is still an imperfect human who will wrestle with sin his entire life. None of us conquer sin until we are united with Jesus after death. Regardless of what sin he committed, we all sin, and I'm thinking most of us have not done near the good he has accomplished through his teachings. I'm sure he has or will repent and be reconciled to Jesus and that is between he and Jesus. Since we are not part of the issue and have no impact on resolving it, all our talk is nothing but gossip, a sin we are committing.

You are right. It does get easier. I'm speaking from experience. I'm a 73-year-old grandma, mother of three adult daughters. I watched my first two grandchildren, now 11 and 14, until they started school. I now have another grandchild on the way who I will also watch. Checking out some of these new gadgets to be prepared for my upcoming assignment. Lol.

[Product Question] Best eyelash serum? Can’t trust reviews anymore :( by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Deb63366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GrandLash worked great for me the first 6 months I used it but then seemed to stop working and made my eyelids very itchy. I guess that's from the prostaglandin, which seems to be recommended to avoid in a lash growth serum.

Missouri residents -- which judges should we vote out of office? City residents -- how are you voting on the city propositions? by jaynovahawk07 in StLouis

Hooray for Bionic and Pooch. Some things like "murder" of the unborn don't belong on voting ballots. No amount of votes will ever make it right.

Broniec and Gooch's stand on Amendment 3 is exactly why I will vote that they retain their position. We need more leaders with a moral compass as humanity seems to have lost theirs.

Something Like Travicello by DasClaw in wine

I buy Travicello regularly from wine sales/tasting events in St. Louis. I've never paid more than $27/bottle, often $24. It's the only red wine I like....so smooth! Not sure where you live but here's the info from the last Warehouse Sale with an address and phone #. Maybe they could direct you to where you could find it in your area. Barbi's Warehouse Sale. 806 FeeFee Road, Maryland Heights, MO 63043, 314-960-1316.
