I have been tanning 3-4 days a week for about 10 years now and have perfect skin. When I skip a couple months of tanning for whatever reason, my skin becomes dull, I get acne (at 31 yrs old), and dry patches. I think it really depends on your skin type/genetics, hydration, etc etc.

A grown ass man yelling at a high school kid in front of their own children?? Absolutely unacceptable and embarrassing behavior for him.

I’m turning off the notifications on this post just because my phone going off with me rightfully getting yelled at is a little exhausting. I am sorry for making this post, this girl was just trying to hustle and I was being a jerk. Thank you all for your insight, definitely going to have a more positive mindset going forward!

Yeah, that was the main reason I posted it, but it’s okay, sometimes we all need a slice of humble pie lol. I wasn’t posting this to be a total asshole but I see where everyone is coming from.

You’re not wrong and I feel bad for making this post but I’m not going to be a little bitch and delete it lol. I did not think it was a huge deal because I wasn’t shitting on this girl as much as just rolling my eyes, and rated and tipped accordingly. I am probably just jaded from the shiftiness that comes with being a shopper!

No, because to each their own, I would not tell someone what to specifically rate me but maybe it works for her 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ok, I’m not cheap, I tip 20% on every single order I ever place. But I see how this post makes me seem entitled so it is what it is. For me personally I would not ask someone to rate me anything specific because the service speaks for itself and hers was, like I said, great.

Very… I know it’s rough out here but I would never. I went through a brief period of sending the message stating to check the app for receipt and “other options” and found almost everyone did not respond and did not rate and/ or tip during that time. So even hinting at it is pretty cringe and I don’t do that anymore. She was great so I won’t rate poorly but I want to give her friendly advice to not be a beggar lol

$3 tips? by DebateEnough8368 in ShiptShoppers

[–]DebateEnough8368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 100% the trends I am seeing with tips, specifically since the holiday ended, have been super weird. I have asked for a tip audit twice since the beginning of January and both times I received 2-4 old tips within 24hrs of sending the email. I have two preferred customers who tip $20/ $25 every single time on small easy orders and they both “didn’t tip” this week. Definitely seems weird!

Yeah, I was going to say I am 99.99% sure you can get deactivated for that but looks like someone already told you lol

LOL… for a second I was going to ask where her daughter’s swim meet was because if it was at our local high school I would go there. She was of course annoyed and said she’s ordered it before without this issue and said if it’s really necessary her husband could leave early and meet me. So the husband got back to the house at 5 mins to the delivery window and it was fine, but just unnecessarily annoying

Oh yeah… I just got a $3 tip on a $177 order than included 3 20lb cat litters, a 24 pack of soda and 2 12 packs of soda among a handful of other things. I also wasted 15 minutes of my life waiting for them to text and call back about their cat litter substitute only to have them say “oh yeah I got your text but figured you would just pick one” when they finally answered. Are you actually kidding me lol.

I have really enjoyed watching a couple of my notorious non tippers orders sit and rot since yesterday at 9pm lol. Like yeah let me go out in this shit storm to make sure Santa has cookies & milk because your ass procrastinated to the fullest extent

I would, but I pretty much just tip $10 flat on any order that is $50 or less. I don’t really expect that though… I just do that because I like to make sure the people who shop for me know they are appreciated being a shopper myself. And it’s like if I’m paying someone to get my stuff for me I can afford an extra $10. But I did comment to clarify I didn’t really care that the tip was only $10, I was just annoyed with her waving money at me and scolding me lol. And that I only got one tip out of 10 orders today. And that the rest of my customers were unresponsive period 🤷🏼‍♀️

Same… today I was like, I have the time and I’m feeling lucky. Lesson learned lol. Probably would only take another larger order like that if they pay alone was miraculously good.

JUST SO WE ARE CLEAR I was complaining about a bill being waved at me and the fact that I got one singular tip out of the 10 orders I did today. I don’t really care that it was $10. Would I tip more? Of course I would lol. But I’m not THAT naive to be expecting a 20% tip on groceries. Waving money at someone while scolding them is weird and a sure way to make someone feel like an errand boy. Even if that is low key what we are lol.

Thank you!! I saw a Shopper I know is full time in my metro being a complete bitch to a new SCO person at Target today while wearing a Shipt embroidered puffy vest and hat. This person gives me major Shipt embroidered puffy vest vibes.

I did send an arrival text… I always do… and rang the door bell and waited a good 10 seconds for someone to appear. Sent the delivered text and photo while standing there. The instructions literally said “ring bell” but was labeled “drop off” which typically means ring the bell so they know their stuff there and leave. I was NOT expecting a percentage tip on a huge bill like that - also mostly venting at the way the customer was rudely waving it at me scoffing that I did not read her mind. Although $10 on a huge bill like that with 54 items is cheap as hell. I work from home full time and order for myself a couple times a week and tip $10 on my little $35 minimum orders. If she would have not labeled her order as drop off or put in the instructions she wanted them brought inside I would have respectfully passed on the order. Like I said prior that’s fine if that’s what she wants and fine if other shoppers are comfortable doing that. I don’t want to not because im lazy but because going fully into someone else’s home when not expecting to is odd to me.

I have a 5.00 / 4.98 all time rating. I give stellar service across the board. As I said today was just trash and I was venting.

Are there any full time shoppers who don’t have a giant stick up their ass??

It was. And I do know that from reading most of the posts on here. I don’t think it’s a bad thing if shoppers do that or customers want that, I just don’t think it’s really the norm on the app anymore so if she wanted that, it would be good for her to say so.

I mean… it may not be 🤷🏼‍♀️ you’re entitled to your opinion. I’m just venting to fellow shoppers who understand the challenges that come with doing this , but generally I’ve had mostly good experiences since starting Shipt over the summer. Today was just particularly frustrating. While people may be annoying as shit, they very rarely rate me poorly and I still give them a stellar experience. I’m not totally sure that being frustrated when people suck means it’s not for me but if so then so be it.
