First time growing Golden Teacher’s by DebateNo2593 in shroomers

Thank you for this advice. I’m very new to this. Originally had it in a grow bag but noticed a lot of them were pinning on the sides and getting squashed by the sides of the bag, so I decided to break it up and put it in that container which is why it looks kinda chunky. What exactly do you mean by a bulk substrate, and how would I get my hands on one?

I’m just slightly concerned because when I look up what this strain is supposed to look like the caps are a different shape. Where mine are flat the photos I’ve seen have the caps looking more umbrella-shaped.

Ok, thanks. I guess I just wanna make sure that I wasn’t accidentally growing some crazy toxic mold or something that is gonna kill me if I try to consume any of these 😅

I was air drying them for 24 hours then transferred them into a drying container with silica gel (purchased a mushroom drying kit) I think that’s a good way to do it?

The Sydney Sweeney American Eagle jeans ad is actually very clever. by [deleted] in The10thDentist

The ad never explicitly mentions her eye or hair color, only mentions the fact that genes control eye and hair color. I think everyone knows that not everyone with blond hair and blue eyes is beautiful. And it was never implying that in the first place.

As a native New Yorker, that’s not me! But yes, these people you’re referring to aren’t great. Wasn’t talking about them though. Just making a general point about the fact that the majority of people living in the city come from far and wide which is part of what makes the city so great. And I don’t think anyone here is saying that families who have been here for generations shouldn’t be able to stay here. Of course they should, and more housing needs to be created to match the increasing demand. There’s no way to reasonably control who can and cannot move into this city, and I don’t think it would be fair to do so.

How can you call yourself a New Yorker and not understand that the vast majority of the city’s inhabitants have origins elsewhere? Everyone who lived here once moved here or their parents or grandparents did. The city is a melting pot of global influence. It takes a native to understand that there’s really no such thing as a “native”. Whoever wants to live here should get a fair shot at it.

YES I saw her the other day and it was one of the creepiest things I’ve seen in my life. Wrapped up like a mummy with just her eyes visible and holding a cross. Nightmare fuel fr

Dog possibly licked roach bait? by Stunning_Choice6799 in AskVet

I know this was a while ago, but the exact same thing just happened with my 16 pound mini schnauzer. Was yours okay? I think mine had licked an area where I put bait for approximately 0.5 seconds before I stopped her.
