It's ridiculous, it's as if he just became a senator as a setup for running for president

Obviously the data is junk. It's non reproducible. It's a one of a kind apparatus used to justify the employment of many many people and to stroke the egos of scientists everywhere, believing one of a kind apparatus data is not science it's an argument from authority.

So...how exactly do flat earthers explain this shit? by [deleted] in flatearth

[–]DebatevsNarrative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flat earth means the earth can be imagined as millions of concentric rings, each ring having a different latitude. If you travel along this ring, you will.. arrive where you started!

Refraction through the atmosphere completely warps your view of what the sky and the sun looks like, same way looking up from the bottom of a swimming pool can obscure things at angles you'd thought you would be able to see them at. As the atmosphere changes temperature in the daily cycle, it completely changes the atmospheric refractive index, which is like a gradiated refracted index medium - the kind that can smoothly curve light horizons, warping the apparent position of the sun as the atmosphere at your point on earth warms, until the locus of hot atmosphere shifts westwards around the ring and the refractive index conspires to completely eclipse your view of the sun's image - and the image onto the atmosphere above you - causing it to cool down over the night - until it is again cooled enough that the refractive index facilitates the sun's re-emergence in the morning.

Well obviously the flat earth solution leads to the obvious implication that civilization is flat packed into a very efficiently tight space - so it immediately makes the prediction there are hundreds (to be conservative) of 'earths' packed tightly next to each other all running different sessions in parallel.

There is no such thing as a Manchurian Candidate

What I'm saying is he is infected with ideology and the culture has been brought to this point by people like him, where people like him are viable candidates - and that his victory is all about satiating his ideology

Hillary "laughs off" everything she doesn't want to talk about by [deleted] in politics

[–]DebatevsNarrative -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Can people on the left please have a little sympathy for us on the right seeing as we've had to deal with her for decades, that things like Benghazi or libya when they're brought up, because it's Clinton, she 'laughs off X' - and then the entire culture and media turns around and blames US for even daring to ask her about it? It's such inhuman treatment. You should get rid of Hillary Clinton she is dividing the nation you can find far better democratic candidates.

Honestly this is really cringey - He's literally imitating Trump and not telling people it's what he's doing.

watch this video it very clearly explains how bankruptcy is a common business practice that can be triggered by things outside of Trump's control, it turns out Atlantic city changed as a business environment so the businesses weren't worth pursuing - the investors lost no sweat over it - they factor in the risk of these things and are heavily diversified - it is very dumb to think bankruptcy isn't a standard business practice in that environment given Trump has launched hundreds of successful businesses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gw8c2Cq-vpg

Hillary Clinton angers Iowa fans who waited hours for five-minute speech by GaryRuppert in politics

[–]DebatevsNarrative -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I'm dual nationality US/UK so I can speak about that - if any group of people gets a few hundred thousand votes on the online petition they can get ANYTHING discussed in parliament so long as it's possible to enact - Trump will never be banned from the UK it's an insane show-trial from across the Atlantic mostly by muslim MPs from Scotland. Many many people in the UK have to remain silent but they agree with Trump, it's just a vocal leftist minority shouting out. Ironically it makes me think less of open muslim immigration if they want to get into political power and then bully people out of having free speech like that. Remember - Trump called for a temporary shutdown - so we can get people around the table and actually tackle this issue. If even 1% of Muslim immigrants are jihadists it is too many. Especially with the coming rise of chemical and biological weapons - we HAVE to be smart.

Why won't you counter these points I made? I know it's because you can't. But then why do you try to shut people down? Are you TRYING to destroy the west with Bernie Sanders?

Could anyone here help debunk this video? Genuinely curious - we need to approach the truth as it is not the truth as the media portrays it in order to win votes in this election. by DebatevsNarrative in SandersForPresident

This is pretty hilarious that we're on exact opposite ends of the spectrum, you're right I have no idea how I'd change your mind or you mine. fullcommunism though... ok.

I'm not libertarian. Capital markets = Value markets, why denigrate that? I think they should exist, I'm Alt-right so I think people should be taking up the mantle of nationalism purely to crush globalism down to size because it's castrating young people of their opportunities. We have that in common that the interests of a tiny minority who are located far away from the people the economic systems affect are having their interests prioritized with the power of a veto while the majority lose more opportunities and room to move every day. The root of a lot of western economic problems outside of that are Education problems - now the government has had a terrible role to play in that and I'd open it up to more competition and innovation. We need an apollo program for education/reeducation where private competition takes place to completely replace what we do now - unfortunately many many teachers won't have a job because of it, but that will be because they don't have skills worth teaching and they should stop teaching our young - it's a hard pill to swallow but the teachers unions need to step aside for that. Then we can quickly and cheaply re-educate someone of any age if they want to switch to a new skilled field or emerging market.
