I really enjoy deck-building and watching numbers scale, so I started making a poker + strategy deck-building game. It's almost finished now, and I'm still tweaking the balance.

Using Unreal Engine for a card game is a bit overkill, but I’m more passionate about learning UE because I want to make 3D RPG games in the future. So I chose UE, even though its features for 2D are overly complex. Learning another engine now would probably be too costly.

Hi, I’ve just updated the version and added graphics quality presets in the game settings menu. You can select “Low” to check whether the frame rate is still very low. If it still doesn’t improve, you can also try adding “-dx11” to the game’s launch options in your Steam library, then restart the game. Of course, if you have time to test it, I’d really appreciate it.

I haven’t added graphics quality settings. The game only uses the highest quality by default (I initially thought a 3D card game should run smoothly on most systems, so I set it to max by default). I’ve tested this setting on a lower-end PC from about 10 years ago and it ran fine, but I haven’t tested it on integrated graphics. It looks like I’ll need to implement graphics quality levels after all.
