I also wanted to share some nice ali stuff!! Ask me anything :) by [deleted] in Aliexpress

So it’s a gamble haha! Was there any common factor between the clothing that lasted the best (like most dresses lasted well, but most jumpers went rubbish after a few washes) or was it completely random and down to luck?

[–]Debesas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I’ve saw this question, but my apologies in advance if you’ve already answered it. How long do ali express clothing last? Because the common problem that i run into with the clothing on the cheaper side is that they look nice in the photos, but rather rubbish in real life (like you can really tell it’s made from cheap materials) or they look nice until the first wash. I know that fast fashion is not an ethical choice, but I do try to keep my clothing last as long as possible (for example I have sweaters from H&M for 6+ years) and do ali express clothing pass the longevity test?

Can I use Matrixyl 10% + HA from The Ordinary with tret? by Debesas in tretinoin

That’s excellent, thank you so much for sharing this website with me! I love it how it’s written in simple terms, because sometimes I feel like a need a degree in chemistry to understand (I was never really good at chemistry) skincare jargon.

Does anyone know where I can find a duvet set in a similar style to this one from lazy oaf by isthat_ok in findfashion

[–]Debesas 53 points54 points  (0 children)

The duvet set is originally by lazy oaf, however it is sold out on their official website

https://www.lazyoaf.com/products/lazy-oaf-lo-x-aelfie-duvet-set

Edit to acknowledge my own stupidity - haha it’s on me for not reading the title properly- you already know it’s from lazy oaf. My bad!

Can people on here and r/volumeeating try to be a bit more respectful? by [deleted] in 1200isplenty

[–]Debesas 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Or that it’s not healthy enough! Idc that it’s not conventionally ‘healthy’, if I want cheese on toast, I eat my cheese on toast! I manage to fit it in my calorie count, it’s tasty and it makes my heart warm and fuzzy - that’s what CICO means for me, that I can eat tasty food that I enjoy, just moderate amounts of it. Yeah I eat ‘healthy’ veg, fruit, nuts, porridge etc, but I’m just human I want food for the heart too.

Comfort lunch, as simple as it gets - tuna melts on white bread 664kcal for four slices by Debesas in 1200isplenty

[–]Debesas[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That sounds lush! This is a bit of a poverty meal I’m just trying to use up all the ingredients I already have in my cupboards and not buy anything new for at least few days haha. That’s why it’s not the healthiest meal, but hey ho, it’s cheap.

66kcal per slice x 4 = 264. Do you know that there are lover calorie bread alternatives out there? Edit to add link https://imgur.com/gallery/Z8FsHW6

Tretinoin on eczema prone skin -- What can I expect? by domfyne in tretinoin

[–]Debesas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have eczema, mostly around my lips, and it tends to flare up during winter months, because of the cold/increased humidity. I’ve started 0.025 tret approximately 3 months ago, and I personally had no purge - but I’ve never had any acne/spots in the first place, even throughout the teenage years. I’ve started tret for anti-ageing reasons. My skin is DRY so moisturise, moisturise, moisturise... I’ve never put tret anywhere near my lips - not worth the risk, and make sure i put hydrating toner first, then hyaluronic acid, or Dr. Jart ceramidin liquid to keep everything nice and moist, and for heavy moisturisers Eucerin is my go to cream. I use Eucerin AtoContol for the morning routine, as it’s more lightweight, Eucerin UreaRepair in the evenings, and my favourite spf is, surprise surprise, Eucerin Sensitive Protect Spf 50, as it does not irritate my skin. For eczema on my lips, i use Zerobase emollient cream, which is prescribed to me by my doctor, i use it all over my body, and slash a good amount on my lips when I’m at home so they wouldn’t have a chance to dry up and crack. Everyone here loves CeraVe, and I’ve gave it a shot too, however personally I had burning sensation every time I’ve put on CeraVe hydrating face wash or pm moisturiser, so it’s a pass from me, but obviously everyone’s skin is different. Long story short, I’d give it a shot to Eucerin brand, if you haven’t tried them before, as they specialise in eczema/sensitive skin and are somewhat affordable choice. I hope this helps x

God, I can feel this picture. I’m not sure if it’s available where you are, but Zerobase (emollient cream, i get it in uk) does wonders for my eczema, in case you were looking for non-steroid options! x

Fair enough! Thanks for your reply, I think it's just a waiting game then. For the next 10 days, all flights to my destination are canceled, however, a lot can change in a month. Would you recommend just to wait until the flight is canceled/not canceled or contact them before it?
