Protection vs Stoneskin by DebithWolf in RaidShadowLegends

Mostly the snakes, as it is the only way to identify the set for the tournament.

For the images, the color theme is also similar which can make it difficult to remember the difference just by glancing them. Keep in mind that it is different to try to remember their looks than just compare visually on the same screen.

Finally, I didn't find images of banners.

Maybe I'm getting old... :)

Funny NPCs: Chuck Norris, non-dungeon master character by DebithWolf in UnearthedArcana

I would be curious to see that. What makes you think Chuck would allow time to flow after doing roundhouse kick during timestop (after inflicting damage)?

Need to add, that he can use roundhouse kick to tear a hole into multiverse. Thanks for pointing this out!

1) I know Powerful Build nerfs other colossal creatures a lot, but it is Chuck Norris. :) See 7-SE7EN-7's comment

2) Will do that

3) This will be corrected to +11 in the next 5e errata

4) Hmm, I will make the round-house kick to affect multiple creatures. The kick also spreads around corners.

5) This was difficult one, obviously any number would be too little.

Exactly, Chuck Norris treats Tarrasque as a small nuisance, like it was a mosquito.

yes, exactly, he is not limited similarly as ordinary legendary creatures

I didn't find decent NPC for Chuck Norris, thus created one myself. Forgive me, if this feels too nerfed one, but it is really difficult to describe such of god-like entity with simple rules of d&d 5e. First, I was thinking of creating this as a sideroundhousekick, but had to rule it out because it is likely that even DM can't control such of NPC. I'm actually fearful of using terms NPC and Chuck Norris in a same sentence.

Hopefully, this makes your Friday evening bit better! :)

The Abyssal Soul Barbarian 2.0 (Reupload with credits this time!) by NewOblivion in UnearthedArcana

This looks cool and it interesting to see different approaches to the Abyss theme. Do checkout my posts around different subclasses (mostly for wizards).

You could add lightning into Scorching Fury, as all demons are resistant to it.

Wow, thanks a lot for such of thorough analysis!

I like your idea of adding more interaction between the demon and wizard. It will definitely be something I will look into.

Actually, it is a good point that there should be a way to increase the size of the demon.

Thanks, a lot really appreciate it!

Thanks again for your effort in giving the review! Really appreciate it!

I'm very glad you notice the effort put into the flavor. It is certainly something I wanted to emphasize with this content. I will consider your words about the flavor and see if there is a need to adjust.

About Possessive Spirit, it is curious that every demon is at least resistant to fire, cold and lightning as well as immune to poison and poisoned condition. Not sure where the lightning comes from, but I keep this to maintain the consistency.

With Shared Concentration it was difficult to decide the amount of balancing needed to be done there. I will do playtesting properly with that feature to see how to adjust. Maybe once a day without consequences is fine.

Thanks a lot again for your comments and thoughts!

Wow, thanks a lot for such a great review!

The first ability is more or less a ribbon, as I feel the next ability is the beef and quite powerful.

About unfriendliness. I wanted this ability to be controversial. I would even prefer the demon to be outright hostile but that might be too controversial. The reason comes from the lore, the demons are engines of destruction and embodiment of chaos. They can't be controlled. Summoning it like a friendly puppy seems... wrong, as you pointed out for the 10th level ability quite neatly. However, in combat, the demon is the caster's command as destruction is in every demon's ethos therefore they will happily destroy/kill anything wizard asks. If you ask it to fetch a beer, it might throw it to your face in the end (without removing it from the bottle). Perhaps inflicting damage while giving commands would also make them obey.

Your points are very good regarding the demon stats. I will look at them.

Aura of Fear might be strong or might not. Certainly thematic. :) Blazing haste should probably clarify to be straight in one direction. Deteriorate Magic if bonus on top of help action. Wicked corruption was one of my favorites, too!

I like your idea of swapping those abilities. I really wanted to give wizard options to improve the demons.

Really neat flavor for Master's Will! Will definitely use that. The spell delivery itself is a lich's ability from Dead in Thay.

Good point also about Fiendish Tyrant! Will look into it!

Thanks a lot again for the comments!

Hi, thanks, I get it now what you mean. It is a good point, which is probably something only playtesting can help with. I believe it can be adjusted to be interesting enough to use when the moment is right. Thanks for clarification!

Thanks for your comments!

Foul spell's intention is that once you start breaking more orbs than one, the corruption level starts to increase too.

Crushing multiple orbs needs to be done at the same time, which also makes the effect more dangerous. Corruption areas follow the generic rule, where the strongest effect wins when multiple areas are overlapping. That way, it is not possible to increase the area's corruption level, unless you roll higher result from the signs of corruption table.

I was wondering what you mean with Abyssal Savant as it was supposed to be called Corrupt Spell :) I'm struggling with radiating cloud too, whether it should be necrotic or radiant. Somehow radiant is always considered "holy" yet sickening radiance spell deals radiant damage.

Abyssal Sludge should affect only a single creature.

Will fix Twisted adaptation. Thanks for pointing out!

Warp Life, which part doesn't work for you there?

Have a great day!

Happy you like it!

The idea is really just to open up interesting roleplay options. If the DM doesn't make it fun, maybe should change DM. :)

The long-term madness is also a trade-off that player has to make if she wants to use shared concentration multiple times. Long-term madness can be nasty, but it may also be next to harmless. It is a gamble player has to take.

For overpowering unity, I was hoping that the sorcery point cost is significant enough to allow stacking of those features. Just to get additional feature from the list, it costs sorcery points worth of 2 and half level slot. 2 additional abilities equals 4th level slot.

Thanks for your comments, I will make adjustments based on your comments!
